Did a side by side picture comparing the two Danguards. It's incredible how a toy half the size can have as much or even more detail then the larger toy.

i like the SoC more, it looks more sharper and more detail than the yamato one. quite impressive for such a small figure.

I like to see size comparison next to the smaller SRC like Mazinger Z. I have a spot for this in my SRC Display Cube.

Thanks for the comp shot. I can see SOC def has much more detail. SOC also has much MUCH better proportion.
Mine's still in AmiAmi's payment/shipping pergatory.... I'm waiting for their new invoice email.

Does that chest open up? I remember the old shogun warrior comics and I believe he had a weapon in there

it looks hinged. Danguard toys usually do have openable chests.

Seriously you know what I love about Bandai SOC? you know when you open the box and play with the toy, nothing is going to be broken,be painted badly, not crack or crumble in your hands,it transforms properly etc etc.

Thanks Baron! D.A. is looking good The chest does open per video. Also, watch the beginning of the video to get some tips on how to open a box without putting any creases on the flaps (for those that don't know)

Thanks Baron! D.A. is looking good The chest does open per video. Also, watch the beginning of the video to get some tips on how to open a box without putting any creases on the flaps (for those that don't know) Just insert a ruler under the flap until it reaches the other side, and lift the ruler at both ends. Voila! Smooth and pristine box!

Thanks for the video! Its not that small at all plus I love the new instruction book with pictures instead of drawings. Plus I LOVE all the clicks and ratchets! Even putting on the Arrows on the lower legs you hear that click, that's both quality AND good engineering. Can't wait to get mine.
