The SOC Danguard Ace is only the second figure I have considered buying a second one after getting the first one just to pose in its alternate form. He is so awesome

It was nice to have a cheaper SOC,but cheaper means smaller,I didnt mind the Danguard being small because I own the Yamatos,but dont skimp on the meat Bandai with any new robots in the SOC line please!Cheap should mean SRC,MONEY means SOC.I like it that way.Ofcourse I dont like spending alot,but when it means more or bigger,i dont mind at all,if its a good quality bigger that is.Imagine having a Danguard Ace priced Godmars or Godsigma?that would suck as they would be little god sized!. |

I would not mind a smaller Godmars, like SRC, as I don't have that SOC and it is expensive.

I like this robot. Best way to describe it for me... It's cute. Got to be honest, I wish that it is as big as the Yamato version. I like the price of this SOC though and so, I don't mind. Plus, I don't have any more room in my cases anyway. With that in mind, I am quite satisfied.

Watched the CDX video review of this figure which prompted me to play with mine and I have to say that so far I think this figure is my favorite release I've gotten so far this year. So many pluses at a very reasonable price and it edges out the SRC Grendizer in my eyes and some really awesome figures I've gotten so far. Kudos Bandai.

Wish I knew if there is any thought behind which SOCs are taller and shorter,obviously its not correct in the SR world.Is it just a cover your eyes and point type of thing?

It's probably more about price point than scale with other models in the line. Much like the "class" system (which I think is lame) for transformers.

I've been planning on buying Danguard Ace for a while but I'm torn between this and the upcoming SRC Mazinkaiser since I'm on a tight budget.
