If anyone can share a pic of Daimos and Godsigma together that would be a big help  Just got Daimos today. BTW, any recommendations on near gapless display cases?  Thanks for this! Hmm.. I think Danguard might be a tad smaller than Daimos... Gold |

I guess it seems fitting for Danguard Ace to be so huge.
After all, he is a spaceship that transforms into a robot.
(I only saw ONE episode of his series)

Some of you may no this but a Danguard Ace as a robot almost did not exist!! The writer/creator did not want a Super Robot in his space opera anime! the robot was a decision made after the original conception of the show which should not have been a Super Robot anime.He was added to make teh show more popular.Even as a kid I thought the show was a bit dull compared to other Super Robot shows.I had most US available Super Robot shows on VHS in the big boxes,I had Gaiking,Danguard Ace etc.I still have the Danguard one!

Danguard was and still is my favorite of the Super Robot shows I was able to watch here in the US...

Just noticed how small Danguard's wings are. I hope they extend or fold out! Hard to tell comparing between the vehicle and robot modes if one is longer than the other (since limbs are folded out of the way in vehicle mode), but they don't really seem to extend beyond the body in robot mode. I like big wings on my bots!!

A friend of mine who was at the exhibit said that it was sized just about, or a bit taller than the Mazinger Z SOC. I think it would just be ok being similar to the old popy version but giving it a more modern feel.

I really wouldn't mind at all... I just hope they release this before Christmas. (make it a bandai Christmas) Many kids and kids at heart (including me) would be much happier Now if they would just release a Mekanda Robot and Laserion; give it a SOC treatment... |
