Are you talking about the image behind Danguard Ace? If so, that is the image of a high-scrapper.

The info is starting to trickle in, supposedly it's not as large as the big guys like God Sigma but larger then your standard SOC so I'm thinking in the Voltes/Combattler/Daimos size range.

I'm relieved that the soc line is still continuing. But i just wish that the prices are reasonable enough, die-cast or not. High pricetags are a definite ouch on our pockets.

I am not sure where it will go as my displays are quite full right now but I will pick this one up as I missed out on the Yamato version. Very cool news.

Tell me about it that's why I'm a pre-order hunter, you usually get a 25% discount which helps a lot.

Great news ! This weekend is gonna be HOT ! Bandai need to keep a certain standing on SOC line ->price count first so we will have a simple changer (not a combiner this time) and size question has just open the bets... Found this : Ha ha ha... No waaayyyy ! About design, now Bandai already has proven they can do anime accurate design (and a second head will propably be on box set). @ Gold : great line up ! Edit : a mini Sky Arrow (combiner please) will help us to get happy... Thanks Lejam. I'm curious to see if Bandai can pull off a perfect transformation with the arms. The group shots from way back actually, when Daitarn first rolled out. So it's missing Daltanious, Godsigma and Daioja. I really should do an updated group shot one day. Speaking of Sky Arrow, that kinda makes me long for the Soul of Popynica line to make a comeback and release some updated diecast versions of old Popy vehicles, like the car from Daimos (Tryper 75s), the Delfighter from Daltanious. Sigh.. Gold

I wonder if they will ever bring SOP back? The Space Battle Ship Yamato was a Big SOP release then the next one, and Andromeda were SOC. Makes me think they don't want to use SOP brand anymore. Sad. I'd love the Gaiking characters redone!

Can someone explain what the picture is supposed to be in regards to? Also, so Danguard will not be a combiner?

Can someone explain what the picture is supposed to be in regards to? Also, so Danguard will not be a combiner? Danguard is more a transformer/changer than a combiner.A combiner is 2 or more robots or vehicles forming one larger robot or vehicle,a changer is a vehicle to a robot or vice-versa..Just like the Yamato one,it will turn into the ship hence a changer. .The graph just shows the actual heights of robots as if in the "real"world.Danguard would be much bigger than Ideon in meters, then Combattler and Mazinger respectively. The Yamato battleship is about the length of Danguards height in anime/real world accuracy. In the diecast world Danguard will be a bit smaller than Ideaon though as Chen is saying, about the height of Combattler SOC. It would be cool to have a collection of robots that illustrated their representative height to each other but certain robots would be larger than your house if mazinger was as big as your hand!

The picture is to show the different official heights of certain SR's. You have Danguard, Ideon, Combattler, and Mazinger along with the Yamato.
Danguard isn't a combiner but a transformer and it will transform.

My first memories of Danguard were from the Marvel Comics Shogun Warriors comic. lol Totally slept on the Yamato version and was actually planning to spend $500 on eBay to get one. So glad I won't have to anymore and can PO the Bandai version instead.

Found this : Ha ha ha... No waaayyyy ! Looking at this image again made me realize, people would be the size of ants next to Danguard. Very, very small ants. The scary part would be the bad guys sometimes had bigger mechs fighting Danguard IIRC. Also, how does one control something the size of a battleship to do fast, reflexive movements in hand to hand battle? Lol. Talk about Suspension of Belief eh? Gold

The size chart is cool, but if you watch the anine and take into consideration the size ratio between human pilot and Danguard's cockpit, Danguard Ace is actually not that big at all. }D
