I acquired this set a while back, but didn't get chance to post pictures on my site until now. You can check out the images and descriptions here.

Nice, I always thought they should have made the combiners larger, now if only they made a Stunticon set in that size Motormaster would really give Prime a challenge of who's the "King of the Road".

i think i saw them here in the philippines. ill try to take some pictures. but they were in different colors. Menasor or Bruticus? bruticus. it was packed in a big box which has an open window. bruticus is packed inside a blister inside the box with all the accesories. sad to say they dont have the silver paint and it came in a different color scheme. it was a seller because of the size. its also available on a smaller version half the size of this version. the price if im right is around 20 US dollars. i also saw bruticus as a five piece set but it was missing 2 robots so i didnt put any interest into the separated blister packs. i forgot to take some pictures and most of the stores dont want people taking pictures. ill hunt it again and take some pictures. i bought the smaller versions and here are the pictures. combined robot form vehicle form robot form i was surprissed that they were available at toys "R" us here in the philippines. they are 3 US dollars each combiner robot. menasor is also available in this smaller version.

Thanks for the pics.
Yes, I've seen that oversized Bruticus set before, as well as one that came in bright yellow and purple colors. Both are of a relatively disappointing quality though. Very brittle and loose. I don't recall specifically about this set, but I know the purple and yellow one also had cheap plastic wheels on the vehicles instead of the normal ones.
Finding an oversized Bruticus is pretty tough. But finding an oversized Bruticus that's high quality -- that took me years of searching to do.

i agree with you shaxper. ive hunted down the devastator, bruticus and menasor gift sets here but i think your bruticus is still larger. the plastics are very brittle. i already broke some joints while transforming the battroid. here are some pictures. this is a big robot. size can be compared to my thumb. i have a normal size thumb. ;D a battroid from robotech. gift set of devastator in vehicle form. a lot bigger if combined. i think this is menasor in vehicle form. another picture of devastator. i have more pictures but i need to work. ill post them later.

this is a big robot. size can be compared to my thumb. i have a normal size thumb. ;D I've actually been looking for this Sky Garry knock off for a while now. I had one ages ago that broke on me. The quality is garbage, but there was a larger scale version of this released from the same company with a gold head. It was just beautiful to look at (even if the plastic was cheap as hell). If you see it anywhere, please let me know. I'd love to own it again. here is the bruticus that i saw. shaxper's bruticus is a few inches bigger and way better in quality. interesting. That wasn't the Bruticus I thought you were talking about. It does look cheap, but I like the addition of red missiles on the sides of the chest. Awesome pics! Thanks for posting these!!

Boyet's Bruticus knockoff actually looks normal-sized to me. I do believe the oversized G2 Bruticus was available in the Phillipines, though. As for me, I have a MOSC Valdigus-colored oversized G2 Bruticus on a G2 Bruticus card. Card is pretty beat up, though, since the thing is ginormous. I also have 3/5 of the set you have, shaxper. I used to sell them, but I never really kept one for myself, and now they're harder to come by. Ah well. I have enough to make an armless Bruticus or a Bruticus with short legs, I suppose. hehehe. BTW, agesthreeandup.com are going to be selling the oversized Fire Dagwon for cheap soon: www.agesthreeandup.com/main.jsp?p2=shopping/product.jsp&product_id=802

I don't believe I've seen this one before either. How's the quality? If you have Vortex and Swindle, perhaps we could work out a trade or sale? I only have one complete set, and then an Onslaught, Blast Off, and Brawl. Thanks for the head's up, but that's the normal Jumbo Fire Dagwon. Mine is actually MUCH larger, which is what makes it so unique.

boyet, that one that you think is Menasor is and isn't... Looks like it has the main body ("Motormaster") and legs (the F1 car and the Lamborghini; I don't remember their names). But those arms belong to sombody else. Not even sure if they'd actually combine but all the G1 gestalts were compatible so maybe these were from another gestalt I don't remember(?) I second chet's first post above - Motormaster was supposed to rival Optimus Prime but damn, the toy was more Gobot-sized, it was ridiculous when you compared them.

All of the Menasor knockoffs that currently exist are incomplete. For whatever reason, I'm guessing because of the source from which the KO molds first came from, two of the Stunticons were replaced with two Technobots. All of the Scramble City-style gestalts are compatible with each other, so it doesn't affect the combination, but it is indeed using the wrong figures. I don't think there's even one Menasor KO without the problem of those two Technobots included, but perhaps there is a much older one that was originally complete. Something of a mystery, I guess.

I don't believe I've seen this one before either. How's the quality? This isn't my picture, but it's the one on the far right here: www.tfarchive.com/toys/bootlegs/hatch/Bruticus_Family.jpgIt's the same quality as the oversized G2 Bruticus. Overall, not too bad, but not as good as the Korean G1 Bruticuses or a real Transformer. That might work. I'll check this weekend when I drop by my parents' house whether it's Vortex and Swindle or Blastoff and Brawl I need. No, it's the 45 cm version, same as yours. I can understand why you might think it isn't, since the price is so cheap, but trust me, that's it. For a couple reasons: 1) It's the same stock photo used on Happy Well's website for the 45 cm version 2) Those stickers are exclusive to the 45 cm version; the smaller versions don't have those stickers 3) The other toys in the smaller version's size class, like God Silverion and Tribomber are about $10, whereas the 45 cm Fire Dagwon is about $20.

The quality of the G2 oversized Bruticus was too low for my taste. Still, it's interesting to know that this version exists. Thanks for reposting that photo. Great. Let me know. I wouldn't put too much faith in the fact that they're using another site's photo, even if they are setting the price a bit higher. I won't hold my breath on this one. All the same, if it is true, that'd be great for collectors everywhere. AMAZING KO at an amazing price. I'll be very disappointed though. The oversized Dagwon was, by far, my biggest find in all my KO searches. I'd be really sad to see such a rare item become common.

Well, I'll take a picture when it arrives, I guess. Should be soon. Actually, Happy Well has continuously offered this product to retailers and wholesalers since at least 2001. Back then I got a sample sent to me along with a few others. It's just that retailers aren't interested in carrying a transforming robot that big, I guess. I also found out recently that in the Netherlands there are stores that still have tons of of these from the stock they received 6 or 7 years ago (though, it's the carded version with normal stickers, I believe; an older version). So it's definitely been out there, just relatively hard to find. Now, the extremely oversized Super Build Tiger is another matter altogether. It's very rare. I wish I could find one All I have is a very lonely gigantic Drill Boy.
