I had the Eva-01. Sold it after a month. Sculpting and finishing is brilliant. Where I had issues were with the loose joints, especially the shoulder blades that flopped everywhere, and the smaller bits, like the jaw, chest plates and etc. And another issue I had, was the quality of the plastic that was very light and fragile, which made the hands pop loose on their own. Overall as a display model piece, it's great. As a collector's articulating piece, considering the price, size, and weight, it's weak, especially if you like to at least change the pose once in a while, it's then quite a frustrating figure. Now I'm very hesitant of trying another Riobot. The Riobot Eva 1 was designed by a different sculptor than Gurren Lagann. All of the Riobots by Chemical Attack (the Delphines and Gurren Lagann) are supposed to have been of exceptional quality. I only have Gurren Lagann and I can say that it doesn't have any of the problems you've mentioned.

It's funny. We have this whole discussion about why Riobots don't have any diecast... And then Sentinel releases this:

^ The design of the cyberbot looks fantastic. I love how they explicitly label what is diecast. If I do buy this I want the red one. BUT SENTINEL WHERE IS ORGUN?!!!
