Oh I know the story Baron. However, just when I talked myself out of getting it you probably just talked me back INTO getting it. Of course, the reason being the 4th one because I wanted Daltanious for the very same reason!

I'm curious if this figure a combiner or not. Maybe I just hang with this version until SOC made a bigger one...

you mean if all three separate robots are included? that would be great news! Since there is a waist magnet on the crotch robot chest,I believe all 3 robots will come with it,as Albegas is meant to swap the chests ,heads and arms around as well as the heads. If it was limited to the black headed combined version, there would be no crotch magnet on teh lower waist chest.Dig me?

If it so, then it's great. Hopefully is tall enough.

I am so excited for this! I hope the final release will be taller than 20cm.

I'm afraid of the price now that I think about it!

ET needs to realize, just because the robots they are making are rare and cool, and only they make them, doesnt warrant a high price for plastic with glued on magnets Im sorry.

Somebody mentioned that ET belongs to CM's. If that is correct, there is no escape from paying lots of money for these figures. CM's went a step beyond ET with the super expensive Mechander Robo Set, which was crazy expensive and absolutely 100% thin plastic. }D

Now that I think of it, I would rather wait until Bandai makes one (which will probably be a very long time from now). I'm thinking they wouldn't use magnets.

Do any of the Evolution Toys figures transform? Something is telling me that they don't.

They don't have any transforming figures out yet I think. The Gaiking combines and so will the Atlanger, but I can't recall any transforming ones. }D

According to the photo in below as reference. It is around 20cm. Not in scale with the other Voltron. So, the entire combined robot is pretty much the same height as just one of the three original Matchbox Albegas figures? If that's the case, I'll pass.

Like I said before, the combined Albegas is only a bit taller than the separate robots in the anime. I never cared for the look of the Matchbox Voltron II / Albegas much because of how weird it looked with the long body and tiny arms, so I am personally good with the ET Albegas' size. }D

I find the height thing annoying. I understand the charge due to the engineering cost involved. But for a couple of bucks more, they could have doubled the side of the robot.
For a retail of $180 without shipping, that's a very small toy. BANDAI SOCs don't go for that?! Regardless of how awesome the figure looks.

Im good with both my Braigers from Yamato small and large transforming{wonder if ETs will turn into the car?},Ill pass on this one{upper corner of picture}I like the obscurity they choose, since they are doing non transforming classic SRs only, ill take Diapolon!

Diapolon would be awesome, since there are absolutely zero modern versions of it. }D
