Saw Chachipowers review of this, really impressed. I search the boards and didnt see any discussion on it so Im starting this thread.
Amiami i believe still has it for only $150!

if he isn't so ugly I might consider it........but the design just doesn't do anything for me.  The LEDs are cool nevertheless. |

This is one of the few purchases I have made based mainly on design vs my love of the character. Ive watched the cartoon, its not bad but not great. |

What or who exactly is this? Its a comedy genre anime series. You can watch it on Hulu + or probably Crunchyroll im sure. High quality animation. Story premise is great, I think it couldve been written better. Its about a future world where heroes do heroic acts to earn points, and compete with other heroes for top ranking. They also all have sponsors all over their uniforms, which happen to be real-life product placement. For example one guy has Tamashii Nation as a sponsor and another Bandai. Its about howe they cope with the morals of being a hero vs satisfying your sponsor. Very cool designs, imo but they are not robots. They are humans in power suits like iron man. His name is Tiger and part of a two man team who are the main characters. |

Never mind, I found it...
...I like the animation, some elements do remind me of
"Karas, The Revelation". Nice humor and such.
Well, I think I'll watch a few episodes and see if it
interests me.
Interesting storyline, too... perhaps I could use a break
from the usual ever-typical "Enemy wants to conquer Earth,
send out the sole giant robot piloted by a boy" routine
just for once. I'll see.
Oh, and this time, the main character is dressed in
green/metallic armor instead of the classic red/white/blue
color schemes of the '70s....lol.... nice change of scheme.
(NO, I'm NOT giving up Mazinger-Z nor my other
favorite super-robots! lol)

I just dont dig it,reminds me of a NASCAR robot or something with the logos and writing on him.Just too modern for me I guess.

The comments on this board never cease to amaze me.  Great review, chachipower. Really wish I would have gotten in on this when it was on clearance with HLJ. I thought this would have more diecast than just the groin/joint area, especially for the price, but overall the articulation and LED features are definitely well represented for this character figure. Topic probably belongs in one of the other forums just to keep things tidy (SOC vs. 1/6 figures) I would think, but what do I know?  |
