Yeah. I'm kind of surprised it went for $8100 since it was poorly listed. Heard that it was going for $3000 buy it now but someone put a bid on it.
Glad the seller got at least market value.
The Godsigma w the broken horns, arm, missing some silver attaching pieces and wings went for about $5,500. It was a lot cleaner than the one with 1 broken horn that sold over a year ago went for about $6,200.
Looks like some pieces having been going down and some like Daidenjin stays about the same.

That is a heart breaker for a $3000 BIN. I have Voltes as a plain search saved, but had been busy and not surfed through ebay much lately. Should be a very happy seller if the buyer comes through.

Unbelievable. I figured it would be 8/10/12k, not pushing 19...with no box nonetheless. At least it was mint.

Yeah. Prices between some pieces like that seem volatile. A boxed one with instructions went for about 12K if I recall. Not sure what's going on. A set of mint looking Kyodain mini jumbos went for about 5K.
Here's my new list of most wanted Robot Factory based on that.

¥1,869,000 yen? Over $15,000 USD? WTF? Why wouldn't you guys post the ending bid here? Is it against forum rules or something?

Live auctions is a NO NO, I just tend to avoid links to auctions period.Screenshots work well for showing ending price, but I'm not familiar with any rules against posting closed auctions.

Closed auctions are fine, yes, however use your judgement if you think it may get relisted and become active again.
Usually the auctions like this don't, however.

Another Godsigma just went for 600,000 Yen less than the one in the thread. Pretty volatile market for that one.

Wow!!!! That's absolutely crazy. For some reason I couldn't get the correct final price through the Rinkya site. I feel lucky I got mine a few years ago!

Looks like prices have been somewhat volatile. That broken Spazer went for under 641,000 Yen which is a decent price I think. The Ultraman Leo in great condition went for about 700,000 yen. The beat up God Mars went for 87,000 yen.
Anyone here buy any of these? I guess the God Mars could be used for that Custom Mighty Orbot or Goggle V jumbo.

Prices for jumbos have gotten out of hand lately IMO.
Personally, I think the Spazer is one of the most overrated jumbo accessories. Options for display are too limited. I like to keep my setup sensible; I don't want a giant UFO awkwardly hanging off a shelf or just sitting on the floor, and I'm not the type to collect stuff just so it can sit in a box locked away in a closet. Taking said concerns into consideration, I wouldn't pay that price for a mint/complete specimen, but that's just me. It's still an awesome toy, and a great piece of history, just something I'd be content admiring in a toy museum.
There's a rather awkward trend I've noticed in Yahoo! Japan Auctions which I'd like to discuss... I won't mention auctions that are still live, but it's happened both recently and on previous occasions. A seller will have a jumbo up for sale for what I would assume is agreeably a high asking price. I don't think there's a debate to be had on the matter when the listing is live for months with no takers. Then, one day the item is re-listed (again, for the umpteenth time) with a significant price increase. Where is the logic? You run an auction for weeks and weeks, hoping someone will give in to your (already) high demands, then, when no one bites, you increase the price 50,000-100,000 yen? It seems asinine to me.

Yeah. This trend is true on eBay as well. Item doesn't sell for $1000? Let's up the price. Happens all the time lately.

i figure some of the price fluctuations on eBay were more of a dollar to yen situation. Maybe its to make it seem a deal when they drop it to the original high price.

That could be. Although I have been watching an item r that didn't sell for $600 so they jumped it up to $900. It's been at that price for months now
