is it me...or...is the entirety of the arm completely new, joint and all? for a while, I thought you just shaved down a SRC Z arm, but...looking at it closer, it looks totally new. also, are you going to do a custom Kyoukagata Rocket Punch since the SRC's are Stupidly proportioned Gorilla fists?Yeap, the arms are 100% custom. No reused parts. Molded them with the anime look in mind. I'm not sure if I'll ever make a custom (yes, just one!) Kyoukagata Rocket Punch, but it shouldn't be too hard now. I already had made custom Iron Cutters, but I will have to make new ones to match the anime arms. }D

Thanks bro! Here is a picture with the poser, Shin Mazinger: }D LOL... poser = Shin Maz. All hands down, even the SRC Shin Maz doesn't hold up to your anime-correct ("AC") version. And, while I'm contemplating those two Mazinger character variants, I realize I do NOT wanna get caught up in collecting every Maz variant for the SRC line. I had hoped I would never go that route in the SOC line, and by humble grace I wound up with three Maz variants (the GX-01R, the GX-45, and the GX-49), so I'll just go with the flow. For the SRC line, I just wanna stick with the Toei anime version of the Mazingers and Mazinkaiser. The Shin Maz this Shin Maz that Shin whatever is not so important to me, unless I plan to use each character's SRC figure as a physical display document to narrate the Mazinger cannon timeline. At this time I don't wanna think about that kind of project. So many friggin awesome robot toys, so little time. zozo-mag

I saw that on your post in Facebook. But now that I'm seeing it up close, you did a phenomenal job on the 3D print and detail for his drill-missile turrets. Lemme guess: those drill-missile turrets can slip right into the bicep sockets, right? Absolute GENIUS! zozo-mag

Thank you Tony! Yeap, they go in the bicep sockets indeed! I'm still trying to figure out how to make one that ban be used with the forearms attached, like the SOC. However, because of the way the SRC Mazinger forearms are permanently attached to the elbow joints, it is impossible to make a clean looking version. I may just have to mold the forearms and attach them to a modified version of the Drill Missile turret. }D

Thanks bro! I'm still trying to figure this 3D modeling stuff out. But yeah, once I get enough understanding of how to make more complicated things, I'll definitely give the Rust Hurricane a try. }D

Thank you, bros! I made them on tinkercad and printed them on my Davinci printer, using translucent filament. I'm still trying to figure out a way to secure them in place better, but with my limited knowledge of 3D modeling, it's sort of complicated still. Once I perfect it, I'll hook you guys up. }D

The real paint scheme it a bit frustrating.

Yeah. Only their MC Model Kits come with the white limbs. But if Mazinger Z was made by Aoshima, it would definitely have white limbs all the time thou. }D

Flashier version of the Koushiryoku Beams. I don't know, but I think I like the less flashier version better... }D

I'd love to try this tool for cutting vinyls, revoltechs, plastics, sonic-welded action-figures, jumbo parts, etc.... www.harborfreight.com/2-in-bench-top-cut-off-saw-61900.html....Why am I posting this here? Because I figured this could be useful to help y'all get the customization job done. This is a pretty handy little tool for small craft projects. I wouldn't recommend using this to cut through shotgun shells. And if you read the Customer Reviews for this item you'll see most of the reviews are good except for the idiot who tried to cut his shotgun shell with this tool. He's a Dumbass, to say the least. lol I like the one customer review who advised to apply Lock-Tite to the set screw of the pulley mechanism, and he included a pic: "" The pulleys on the motor and the axle which drives the blade are secured by a hex screw. Ater about 5 mins of operation, the hex screw securing the pulley for the blade worked its way out and started making a growl whick destroyed the belt connecting the motor to the blade. I haven't been able to secure a replacement belt yet. You can inspect the belt/pulleys by sliding the platic housing on the left side of the unit up. Recommend you Lock-Tite the set screw for both pulleys which are located under the belt in the toothed surface. No belt, no workee!!(ancient proverb) pun intended.
Outside of this annoyance it appears to be a decent unit. Had I the wisdom to prevent this situation, it would be very happy with it."" zozo-mag

I love this model kit! I've been customizing my very first Bandai MC Mazinger Z kit since I got it many years ago. So far it has been mostly paint related, but that is about to change... Years ago, I got a pre-assembled and unpainted loose MC Mazinger Z on Ebay. I've been saving it for some major customizing, and I think the time has come. I never truly liked the "human proportions" of the waist and thighs of the MC Mazinger. They seemed so wrong. But now, with the help of my 3D printer, I've decided to finally do my very best to make things right! Here is how it's looking so far, compared to my very first MC Mazinger Z: The 3D printed waist and thighs look rough, but they will be tweaked and smoothed later. So far, I LIKE IT!!! }D

I swear to Go Nagai's muh-thuh, you're getting amazingly better at this 3D print stuff as you continue making more custom parts and figs!
And that MC Maz kit, you know I go robogasm for those kits so crazy I shoot stalagmites onto the ceiling! lol
Now here you come improving on what Bandai shoulda done, coulda done, but Didn't done in the first place which is to make those limbs and parts look proper for the robot Maz kit. Because when you think about it, the only robot kit in that line who looks correct in body proportion seems to be the Raideen kit... ...all of its body parts look more "robot" than "human", no funky humanoid waist line; and no funky contoured thighs. Everything on the limbs appear cylindrically straight.
You did an Awesome job there!
Later on down the road when there's nothing for me to collect for a while I'll probably buy another MC Maz kit just to tweak with for the fun of it. But before I get into that spiel I wanna get the Great Mazinger kit since I had already planned on getting it as the next addition to my collection for this model kit line.
I might have to tweak and repaint the eyes on my MC Maz kit; its eyes have that funny small shape that makes them look so squinty I could barely see them from across the room.
