Hi everyone! Long time follower, first time poster! I'm finally gonna get myself an SRC Shin Getter 1 for Christmas, courtesy of Amazon! And at $46-48 and something cents, too. Not a bad value for something that's usually $70. I always thought the robot was awesome to look at and I actually have watched the Getter Robo Armaggedon OVA (which I hope someone does a redub of at some point). I guess my only real concern is how tall is the dude. The only other SRC I have is Grendizer (I have Dai-Guard, but he kinda came out...bad ). hello bro & welcome to RJ congrats on you SRC Shin Getter 1 its a cool figure and the size is decent comparing to other SRCs the thing i dont like about it is the shoulders, they are getting in the way most of the time

welcome.
in my opinion. you must get the dynamic option set. the stoner sunshine effect, and the getter tomahawk are too cool to pass up.

Acknowledged. But...do they have to be so darn pricey? Couldn't they make it so the effect parts had some exclusivity in the US? Like maybe an Amazon or BigBadToyStore.com exclusive?

The option-parts are nice, but they are not a must. Especially with the exorbitant pricing on 'em by both Bandai and thirdparty sellers...

i didnt use any of my option parts for maz. i think hes laden with coolness already. maz = Mazinger z or Mazinkaiser they both awesome tho but with some cool rocket punch effect they really pop out more The option-parts are nice, but they are not a must. Especially with the exorbitant pricing on 'em by both Bandai and thirdparty sellers... well that's depend on the person if you love effects parts like me then its a must i got mine for $53 and if you ask me its kinda reasonable for what you are getting

Well, this is a bummer. That SRC Shin Getter 1 I said I was getting? Apparently something involving old credit card info got Amazon to cancel the original order yesterday. So I had to buy it again with the right info. Man, this has never happened to me before...

So, I got my SRC Shin Getter-1 in the mail earlier today. I wasn't expecting until next week or so.
I'm actually pretty surprised how small and light it is. I mean, I can feel some heft when I hold it, but it's not like I need two hands to do that. And the crossover joint makes the Getter Wing look great on my SRC Grendizer.
There's a few nags though. For some reason, the right arm isn't as tight or secure as the left arm. Like whenever I tap the right arm, it sort of jiggles if that makes sense. And when I use one of SRC Grendizer's Rocket Punch effect part (the rocketing trail part) on the right arm, it plops down.
And the panel that's on his back, it sort of moves around if I touch it, is that normal for it to do? Overall, I really want to like it, but I'm worried if I got a defective one...

congratulations on your Getter its normal to have a kinda loose joints on SRC figures, in some cases they are extra tight for the rocket punch effect i think it wasn't design to do so, Shin Getter arms are already have this weird huge proportions so its kinda hard to put an extra weight on it, i know it should do that easily since its a universal joint which panel ? a photo will help

Congrat on getting this getter , the panel on the back is for the tamashi stand i guess or for the exclusive option set

@ S_Gokin: Attachment DeletedOk, sorry for the small picture, but on the picture to the left (showing Getter's back), there's a white panel between the waist piece and the upper torso. It's this panel that sort of jiggles when I touch it. Is it normal that that particular white panel moves when something touches it?
