the visor plate is taken a little longer to construct
CNC or (Computer Numerical Control) is the next step.

You know you could use a sliding fin,so you can slide it back to alllow for open helmet.it even looks in the anime pic that the fin is in fact slid back farther when faceplate is up.

You know you could use a sliding fin,so you can slide it back to alllow for open helmet.it even looks in the anime pic that the fin is in fact slid back farther when faceplate is up. i had this debate and discussion for quite a period of time regarding this. I think the top fin has to slide back in order for the visor plate to fully lift up. The mechanics in order to have this working successfully would require a lot of development and cost. Ultimately decided that the top fin will be fixed. The visor plate may or may not open up. If it does, it will be just slightly. All depends on how piece comes together when the build starts.

getting ready to mold the pieces.
The helmet section is really straight forward, a one piece silicone with a split outer shell. Same for the visor but the outer shell could be a bit tricky.
notice the fin is now shown ontop of the helmet

Question,is this just a display helmet or will it be wearable? Either way is cool just curious, will you be making a transparent lens or?
