He's cool Sabbath! I really like mine!! The vinyl is a little heavier than I thought it would be. And he looks good on my Mazinger shelf with Garada and Aphrodite!!

I wait the parcel now. I bought the Getter Shin (20 inch) a couple of years now in Paris, also the interesting Gaiking (21/22 inch) in the same vein. Thanks! This is great to post pictures like these! Could you please tell me where this Jumbo is made??? (this year??)Seems bootlegs if I'm not wrong! Thanks (sorry my English is ...hum poor!!)

English is ok sabbath, I have a few friends in France and Italy that I read theirs all the time. From what I could get, the bootlegs were made in China over the last couple of years. The same people are making the 22" Mazinkaizer that are making the 20" Mazinger bootleg. I have them both but the Mazinkaizer is by far the nicer of the 2!

Bowhntr, Bet this will be so much more satisfying than just buying a near mint specimen. Bringing a long thought dead jumbo back to life. That's the difference between a toy lover and a toy collector.

Great team work on this restoration, congrats to all of you. But now you will have to find another one to display outside the Spazer because you will want to keep it inside

The Spazer is an awesome piece of craftsmanship. I completely agree, I do need another Grendy to display where this one now sits. That's a new addition to my shortening want list!

Bowhntr66,
You're tricking yourself into believing that your want list is shortening. Trust me, it's a 'Jumbo Mind Trick'...you think you don't want anymore then one day you notice a jumbo that you've seen a million times but now you suddenly can't live without it.
This is the story of my collecting life and I'd assume many others.

"Jumbo Mind Trick"! I love that! Sounds like a new anime.. "Return of the Jumbo" and "Mazinger Strikes Back". Featuring Duke Grendizer, Obi Boss Borot, Han Daimos, & Darth Garada. I know that feeling all too well. But there are only a few left that I REALLY want. I know I'll keep buying them afterwards, but I'd be happy with just those.
