Hobby Search has the best price of all. I ordered from there and will cancel my Amiami order - since they are sort of sucking lately... }D

Wow! Great price! Have you ever cancelled with Amiami? I heard that it's a hassle to do so. BTW, why do they suck lately, TMZ?

Just be very polite in your email request for cancellation and it will be okay. They always come back and tell you not to do it often, but they won't blacklist you if you don't abuse it. }D

BTW, why do they suck lately, TMZ? Just some of their policies with items they don't want to sell outside Japan ( but HLJ does), and their surprisingly high shipping charges. And... their sucky server! }D

Thanks TMZ. For now I'll keep the Amiami preorder since it's only a difference of 7 or 8 bucks without shipping yet. I'll save a cancellation request for maybe a bigger ticket item. =)
Well, if they don't really want to sell some specific items to customers out of Japan, they should just indicate it on the product description. I know Amazon UK will not sell toys intended for UK consumers to non UK addresses.

Unless you've had better luck than me amiami was always had better shipping rates vs. hobbysearch. To ship a figuart was like $10 more with Hobbysearch.

So, you're saying that Hobby Search charged about $20 to $24 for shipping on Figuarts figure? Based on my experiences, Amiami is about 850 to 1200 Yen via SAL Unregistered, so add another $10 USD on top of that? }|

I know Amazon UK will not sell toys intended for UK consumers to non UK addresses. Their problem is that they do put the items up for pre-order initially, and a day or so later take it down from the English site. Chogokinabdul even got his pre-order canceled because of tgat policy. So I just don't support or recommend Amiami anymore as much as I used to. }D

OIC. Looks like that's what happened to Danguard A on their site. I guess we're lucky that our preorders for him weren't cancelled for those of us that ordered from them.

Anway, Mazinkaiser is now sold out so if you want this guy the month it comes out your going to have to go with hobbysearch or HLJ.

1 thing i dont like about hobbysearch is they not have much shipping option as i dont like shipping my figure with sal unregister so most of my figure is ship using ems if buy from hobbysearch.

Really love the eyes on this version the red and blue effect around them, and stripe on nose, like so many illustrations of him and Mazinger. Im also glad they used a solid ball for the hip joint instead of the springy looking thing they use for Mazingers/Great Maz,Grendy and even danguard,on the SRCs they just dont work well, they loosen, and move weird, anyone else think so?They are hard to turn get stuck etc etc.Hate those joints.

Baron. I agree with you about the face. I love how he looks. I have not had the joint issue you were talking about though.

i agree with baron the paint on on Kaiser's face pops so well and with that level of detail in such a small figure is even outstanding.
as for the spring design for the joint (since is there accurate use from the anime) i don't quite follow, loosen for me is on SRC MZ and GM(specially on GM, his a bit way loose)since there the first SRC figures which is expected, but from the rest they feel quite tight and solid(specially on SRC SMZ) but stuck or hard to turn im not sure, never had any problems with that. maybe you have an issue with your copies?

I dont like the way the hips bend, not so much a QC issue as a design issue. They to me are very awkward, ball joint is way better. And yes the spring look is anime accurate I realize that but I would have preferred a rubber looking spring piece over a ball joint,I just dont like the difference of tightness every single joint has on these.I bought a second Shin Mazinger because my first HAD a QC issue with one of these joints,it wouldnt bend all the way in one direction, and was really tight,it still isnt right.I do not like having to buy a second toy that I usually wouldnt buy 2 of because of this issue. I love SRC but they are a far cry from the same quality a junior SOC has, like the Getters,Mazingers etc.I think better quality comes with size.Im sure Ill get flack for saying that, but thats my opinion. Also Ive kept my Mazinger SRC in teh same pose since I bought himand one of his legs turned very loose because of not playing with him?WEIRD.
