I'm interested to know what my fellow collectors think about this, so here goes;
If you could only have one JM, which JM would you pick and why?
If you could only have one JM from your personal collection, which would you keep and why?
I'll start by going with Godsigma if I could only have one JM. I just love the way it looks. From the shield to the face and multi-colored legs. I just think it looks really nasty!
From my personal collection I'd have to go with Voltes V hands down. I also love his stance (it leans forward ever so slightly), the chest piece, shoulder missile launchers and overall aesthetic just really appeals to me.
I think these two JM's are interchangeable in my book. If I owned a Godsigma then my answer to the first question would be Voltes V!
What's your choices.......

Wow, great questions!
Well, everyone knows that if I could have only one, it would be Combattler V. I was introduced to giant robots by Johnny Soko's Giant Robot when I was really small and I was really into Godzilla. I started collecting the Godzilla comics when they first came out and shortly after discovered the Shogun Warriors on the rack right next to it. I opened up the comic and it was love at first sight!! Awhile later they came out with the 3" & 5" die casts and I had to have them! It would be over 30 years later that I would learn that a jumbo of him even existed. I've been trying to get one ever since.
Out of the collection I have now, if I had to choose one to keep, I think it would be my Rodan with box. I just like the size of him! He's in as close to mint as you can get other than NRFB. He's the first semi- rare piece I aquired and he bring back some great memories of sitting on the couch/floor watching Gozilla movies as a kid.

From my own collection, I would have to go with Combattler, as it was my favorite shogun from the comics. Was a tough choice with Raydeen and Dangard. Would also be my choice from any jumbo, though a Voltes is pretty cool.

I love this question. If I could only have 1 jumbo it would have to be Daiku Maryu. It is amazing. It is totally different from any other jumbo and it's huge. It is unique and just awesome. I think it is hands down my Favorite jumbo. (followed closely by Grendizer andCombattler)
As for the jumbo from my collection I would have to pick Grendizer. He has what I think of as the classic jumbo colors with the reds and blues. He has the fist launching that I have always associated with jumbos. He has the removable shoulder scythes. He is chuck full of all kinds of little details from his individually cast knee pads to the bolts on the neck piece. Plus he is one of those jumbos that has 14 missiles and nothing to launch them with. (which is awesome, pointless, but awesome)

Daiku Maryu definitely! He's my favorite from my collection. Its hard to believe this was a toy at all! Beautiful design from the toy all the way to the box art! Simply amazing!
My second would be Dandaurd Ace. Love those big wings:)

I have to put my vote in for Bowfist Raydeen. However, if I ever get a Combattler, my vote may change. Then again, a Battle Fever J is pretty awesome too . . .

I only have 2 jumbos in my collection, and they are non-vintage, modern varients. One's mazinger and the other's grendizer. I pick the grendizer  |

What book did those photos come from?
I think I would choose Battle Fever out of them all.
He's just got that awesome look about him.
For me out of my own collection, I think I would keep the unifive Mazinga. I just love the look of him with the jet scrambler attached.

My childhood Raydeen is the one Jumbo I would have, the one I would keep. Battle-scarred as he is, he's been with me since that childhood Christmas day my grandparents gave him to me, and will continue to do so even if I sell all my other Shogun Warrior collection. Wow! Thank you for taking those pictures....It appears his JM's are all original....This just reaffirms my choice of Godsigma being the one I'd want! Now, if I could only convince Ray from ToyZone to sell it to me, ha ha!
