And please Sentinel, give us extra parts to extend it for attack gimmicks.
This mecha is one of my top most bad guy !
How is the paint job on Riobot Gurren Lagann ? Semi glossy finish, glossy ?

Glossy in some parts, matte in others. One of the cool things about the Sentinel GL is that it has a lot of different colors and finishes all over, even if it's technically just suppoed to be "red". |

Lazengann is easily one of my fave villian mechs. I just wish Sentinel would release him!

I enjoy their GL so much, I will likely get this. I don't consider this a villain mecha once you realize he was originally keeping humans underground for the greater good.

Sadly no. However, I hope that since they keep showing the figure they will still release. Sentinel seems to be a bit slower

Granted that I only watched the first movie (already know what happens in the parts skipped) but it really isn't my cup of tea. I see why people like it alot but it just isn't for me. Season two however I have no clue about except GL turns ridiculously big. |

Skip the movies. She show is a lot better. seriously epic. I get the epic part of the show but I guess it really doesn't click too well with me. I'm not really an anime kinda guy but if I had to choose then my taste is closer to Getter Robo Armagedon and Break Blade. I watch anime for the action and read manga for story (because I can read faster and multi-task). Also briefly watched the Star Driver movie in the background today and really reminded me of GL. |

Yeah, I can see you not getting into GL if you are not much of a wacky anime watcher. Its epic and I love it. But not something for someone that favor a more serious tone on the show, as it has its fair share of ridiculous funny bits mixed in the hot blooded epicness. Kamina & Simon is the best part and the core of this show. If that didn't make you shed manly tears, this show is not for you, be it the TV episodes or the Movies.

Interestingly enough I have had many friends that I have suggested Gurren Lagann too, that are not even huge Anime fans, that absolutely loved the show. They laughed at the mockery of fan service in Yoko.
The show is an homage to Super Robot shows. Particularly Gaiking and Getter Robot.
