I meed God gundam. I'm happy I waited and didn't get the hi resolution kit. They are also releasing phantom gundam from crossbone... so we got really good news. I hope phantom comes with the parts for v2 and custom version (left arm and shield)

That's enough to keep me hyped on the Metal Build series. Just kind of bummed we still haven't seen the Metal Build Mazinger 0 yet.

(Used to have the mazinger infinity, great and almost perfect figure, bit sold it). About the mazinger zero, probably they are checking everything before releasing it somce Shin getter MB was a failure in sales and also had the loose joint issue. Probably they don't want another failure in the line. I need a mazinger zero in my collection, I'm currently waiting for a ccs reissue, but if bandai delivers I may change my mind.

I honestly can't see Bandai doing a better Mazinger Zero than CCS Toys. Based on the CCS toys figures and Metal Builds, CCS Mazinger Zero included, I feel the CSS toys has better quality, finish, and articulation. The only nitpick I have is the light function for CCS Maringer Zero kills the batteries really fast.
Sentinel just started pre-orders for their Riobot Mazinger Zero and looks very good. It can do the surf board setup with it's backpack.

Bandai is too late in the game again for MB Zero. Even if they do a banger job on it, most of the potential sales was taken by CCS Toys, and now by Sentinel. People don't need that many Zeros, just like people don't need Bandai's SOC Gurren Lagann nor their MB Shin Getter. Too little, too late, been there done that.

I agree with you mpchi. yet I still need a Maz zero. Sentinel is too short IMO, so if they do a proper and taller MB probably may fall (my ideal option would be a CCS reissue but it does not seems close).

Based on what Bandai did to MB Shin Getter, don't expect MB Zero would be any bigger. They are indeed Riobot size, as MB Shin Getter is the exact same height as Riobot Shin Getter. The MB Mazinger Z and Great Maz (Infinity), even shorter. Need to pay big bucks on CCS Zero, as the 'repaint' is very limited. So whether getting the old release or the new repaint, both shot up pretty high on aftermarket price.
