Wow, 10 hours later, still available! p-bandai.com/us/item/N2548073001001On the other hand, I heard from Toysdaily that it was quite a different story from P-Bandai HK, where people had a hard time checkout or stuck at Paypal.

Shouldn't have woken up at 3am for this but all good. Kinda assuming resellers were placing orders on that region.

You know... that armor "cloth" thingy on the X1 should open the door for a Deathscythe Hell in the future.

I'm also puzzled as to why any 3rd party hasn't taken advantage of this opportunity to make the other mobile suits from Wing and Seed. Is it because of the previous raids from Bandai?

Yeah Bandai realized that Metal Club was a real threat. They produced a very successful 00 gundam mold, and then Seed stuffs. And then the Sazabi. But eyeing even on the Exia mold is too greedy. Bandai snaps their finger lol. Well it's just my spectaculation. I'm not working for Bandai marketing department xd. <style>.tb_button {padding:1px;cursor:pointer;border-right: 1px solid #8b8b8b;border-left: 1px solid #FFF;border-bottom: 1px solid #fff;}.tb_button.hover {borer:2px outset #def; background-color: #f8f8f8 !important;}.ws_toolbar {z-index:100000} .ws_toolbar .ws_tb_btn {cursor:pointer;border:1px solid #555;padding:3px} .tb_highlight{background-color:yellow} .tb_hide {visibility:hidden} .ws_toolbar img {padding:2px;margin:0px}</style>

I'm thinking if somebody makes their own "artistic rendition" and not bootleg the MG kit molds either, it should fly under the radar. The MB Seed and GFFMC Wing aren't even accurate to the line art (cartoons or manga). There are slight variations. Although, I would say there is only one MB-esque 3rd party release that came out really decent and that was a 00 Qant. The attempts at Freedom 2.0 weren't good. So there's that.

I'd venture to say that Supernova did a very successful line of all the primary Seed model kits, and Daban did a half decent Tallgeese and Impulse lines, so that satisfied a bunch of people. I know it doesn't satisfy the figure crowd, but for people who could go either way it does eat into the market as a cheaper alternative.

I was hoping to see the main gundams in MB or GFFMC at least (turn A, God gundam, double X Gundam, gundam g self (they could milk the many back packs), any AGE gundam (age 2 pirate mode would probably sell a lot), even the recent barbatos!), so its not a surprise they don't complete 00 or seed line... they made very odd choices in those lines (a barbatos MB would probably outsell Graham gundam anytime, no matter how cool i think it is)

Only new left arm and a couple swords. Easy peezy. Barbatos did recently get the MG and the MRS.

Asia market is totally different story vs North America, especially in HK!! It's a bloodbath for the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore P-Bandai sites. Any metal build pre-orders are sold out instantly. You click on the pre-order button once the clock strikes 4pm. And you wait for the next few minutes to see if it goes into your cart. If it shows page error. Most likely it's gone. If it goes into your cart, it is still 50-50. When you click on check out, if the page shows "insufficient/no stock", game over. If you go to the next steps to verify your address details etc and click on "payment", it is game over if the page shows "insufficient/no stock". So basically to get your metal build pre-order in Asia, you have to pass 4 stages. And at any stage the item could be sold out. In short, pre-orders for metal build in the Asia sites outside of Japan is usually over in 1 min. If we only we had sufficient stocks like the US site.

I've got to say it feels VERY good to have the Crossbone Full Cloth secured. With not a single bit of hassle to it, either.

Makes me curious how is the stock distribution difference between Asia and US. Full Cloth X1 is still available on P-Bandai US, and it is up for almost 1 full day, versus minutes in Asia sites.

Do second and third waves of pre-orders sell-out just as fast in the Asian markets?

For my personal opinion, definitely there have more stock released in Asia as there have more buyers target on MB.
BTW, it is still up for PO at P-Bandai US. Unfortunately they are no longer shipping to Canada anymore... ...

Only Japan has the second wave of pre-orders. All other Asia markets don't have it.

The Zakus are fantastic. And frankly, their potential with that mode is going to be great for fans. I have both Char's and the basic one. Couldn't be happier. Excellent acquisitions, but my best one of the year so far is Arcadia's VF-0D Premium Finish Valkyrie. Insane piece. And thank you for the high recommendation. I only hope we eventually have Metal Build Gundam of the same solid quality even though they are already amazing

p-bandai.com/us/item/N2548073001001 Still available, it is so frustrating, I can't submit my order cause my government has banned our paypal from our credit cards... (I could have shipped it to my middleman in the US, as I used to). I will try to pick one from ebay or Amazon if prices don't skyrocket when available (we have a site here that let us buy from Amazon and some eBay products)

bocasas can you go through a retailer like okini land? And you're dead on with Amazon... honestly that's what I end up doing like a week or so after release and it ends up coming in at retail. ---------------- I just read the amatsu hana is releasing like... now? That came up quick.
