The X3 gets a pass from me...for now. Already got the X1 and X2, not to mention the Full Cloth I got on PO. So, my collection has more than enough Crossbone representation currently. Though, I will admit that my completionist leanings may convince me to pick up the X3 down the line just to complete the set if I can find it at a good price. I'm afraid the diorama it comes with will make finding it at a good price hard, even on the used market.

I would rather have just the X3 without the special stand and have the price much lower.
But I guess Bandai just wants to earn more $$$ out of this exclusive.
The box is going to be so big because of a "redundant" stand.

Thats a lot of plastic for the diorama. While not into getting X3, I am curious how much extra cost that diorama would have added. The original X1 went for 22-24,000 yen, so I'd say the diorama adds 4-5000 yen.

I never realized but AE now has a pay-later format...so, no more up front if that matters to some of the crew here.

you need to pay between the lines, some items doesn't have pay later option and some have the pay later option BUT you pay extra depend on the item some items have around 300 Yen extra some could cost you around $70 extra so be careful before you order
also worth to mention AE customer service went from A+ to D another point you should consider

I put in my pre-order for the X-3 at P-Bandai US. Happy to have the full set of Crossbone Gundams because I am a fan of the manga. I wonder if they will do the other Crossbone variants like the Ghost or Phantom.

X0 Ghost has a lot of chances, its almost a repaint... phantom not so much, its pretty different from the X crossbone mold...

I decided to cancel my PO with AE. The more I thought it over, as much as I like this repaint, I have the initial Crossbones release and with the diorama, I'd have challenges fitting it into my cabinets anyways.
Ah well.

Just opened my F91 Chronicle White. Folks might be disappointed with the paint job, as Bandai used a very warm white on one of the two tone white. Many folks in HK complained it look more like a yellowed figure instead of a custom paint job. This got me opened mine just to see it in person. Turn out while the warm white is indeed a bit too warm (prototype was not like this), but not as bad in-person when compare to online photos. Aside from that, the other colors do look better than the old release, with the whole figure being painted with matte finish instead of gloss coating over bare white plastic on the old, and some new accents are nice. The new green energy shield looks a lot nicer with translucent metallic paint. So for folks that are still thinking about this, it is one thing to consider. Left (old), right (Chronicle White). Personally, I would still pick the new over the old. Though the warm white is a bit off, on a otherwise pretty solid release. Upon closer look, the warm white actually has some very fine metallic flakes in it, but only more visible in darker night lighting, which also hide the color difference better. While not ideal, I am slowly warming up to it.

The Chronicle White is tempting if the matte coat makes the display more consistent. If you have the MB Crossbone gundams, how does it look with them in comparison with the original version?

Unfortunately, I don't have the Crossbones. Only X1 Full Cloth on preorder. The warm white is a turn-off to many. And while the weapon packs are nice to have, I find F91 looks best without them, looking more sleak and lightweight instead of being cumbersome. So while the new paint job I still consider better, not sure if it is worth the high price when you already have the original.

I have the original F91 and the weapon pack upgrade. I am skipping the chronicle yellow version. But if I did not have the original, I would totally get the newer version.
