Honestly, if you live in the US, it's better to just wait for the domestic pre-orders so you can enjoy your sleep.

Man, it was quite a fight. Almost all shops either fail checking out, or sold out before you even start.

Amiami PO closes within 5 secs, don't even know how people ordered it. There wasn't much stalling. Just add one to cart, wait 5 secs for the cart to load, then sold out T_T. I did get one from Nin-nin before their PO closes. Another crazy day of preordering.

Slept and yeah, slept right through any chance of getting it. Bleh.

missed it at HLJ... damm it was fast, could not find it and suddenly it was SOLD OUT... I was refreshing since 4AM (4PM japan), I knew it was going to sell out fast, and was making my PO just in case, but never expected this fast... luckily I'm not so much into it...

Well, it's fine. Just annoying...you will be able to get one if you really want one. More inventory is always available towards release.
And the US vendors have not made their POs available yet.

Don't like how HLJ's inventory listing when it comes to new preorders. I have been refreshing the "New Preorders" page the whole time and Hi-Nu never pops up. Its only after a while when I search Hi-Nu, then its there (but other times it doesn't show either even if you search by name). And since they don't put up at an exact time like Amiami or HobbySearch, its like playing peek-a-boo when you try to preorder anything new. For many other shops, at least they now put the new stuff on the front page or preorder page so you see them right away when you refresh.
Don't know about later stock situation and US preorders, but MB Hi-Nu sure is high demand initially. Even Anime-Export sold out instantly, when they usually are one of the last to run out.

Agree... since they updated their site a few years ago I found harder to get POs. Also I'm not in the US, and I guess due to shipping costs, US releases have become far more expensive than their Japanese counterparts...

If all else fail, you may find some during release date at shops, or keep a sharp eye on Mandarake as there will always be a few brand new ones popping up there at retail price, sometimes even a little cheaper. Have to be fast though, or set up an email alert of the Hi-Nu.
