I think we are about even considering what I found this morning but I'm not going to hijack your thread lol.
I'm almost tempted to say maybe a trade is in order haha.
Nice pickup. I love that version.

Thanks all. I am still pretty stunned. I said this in an email with Mike, but its worth repeating:
Its funny - I was scanning the shelves in this one glass display case where they always keep the vintage robots, starting from the top. I never expect to see anything new. There were some decent things, but I've seen them before. Then I hit the bottom shelf and I almost fainted. I leaned in to take a closer look, and saw the price. O M G!!!! Then I began to doubt myself. The box looked especially thin. Maybe these were just playing cards or something different. The card taped to the front mentioned missing planes. I didn't recall planes with this. There's no way this could be GA-57. Something just seemed off with the price, the thinness of the box, and the description. But I rushed right up to the front of the counter before anyone else jumped on this, asked to please see inside. As soon as he pulled out the styro, I said I'll take it. I tried not to sound too eager. And my son had yet to start shopping. I just wanted to pay right then and there and rush it to my car. But again, I did not want to tip them off. They held it behind the counter, but still in plain sight. My heart was pounding. Every minute that my son took seemed like an eternity. I really did not have a chance to look elsewhere throughout the store to see if they picked up any other new rare items. My son finally picked out his stuff, I paid and made it to the car without security chasing me down for practically stealing that from them. Hehe. I was freaking giddy.

Thanks! Yes, the chest is pristine. I often see rubs on that spot in particular. I always cried "Why does this never happen to me?" when people post their amazing finds. I guess I used up my luck on this one. But I can live with that!

The chest is good because he didn't get put into the ship! Don't put him in the spazer, that's what does it!
