Well, it seems like only 26 R-J members pre-ordered (and kept their pre-orders) from TF so far... }D

^ That's what I was trying to imply on the other thread. Not a lot of orders and yet no delivery

Got mine today. My order still says "Order Complete". Took 7 days with parcel (not surprising). Do I change my vote above?

Well, I counted 28 R-J members that kept their Toyfreakz.com orders, and have either received or are still waiting for their Voltrons. Sadly, the Toyfreakz.com site has been down for several days, and for what I read, the telephone numbers have also been disconnected. I don't know what to think anymore, but I am leaning at the "it doesn't look good" scenario. I had pre-paid for the S.H. MonsterArts Battra pre-order at Toyfreakz, but after emailing Dave and Toyfreakz several times about it's status and the disappearance of the website, I ended up calling American Express and filing a dispute with them. At least I got my $59.99 back, for now and until my item is delivered or the pre-order is cancelled. I don't have any info on the reasons why Dave may have decided to go 100% silent, not only on the Voltron orders, but other orders as well. This is pretty disheartening to me... that one of us has fallen so deep to seemingly take such actions. Pitty... }|

Hey guys, as I mentioned over in the other VV thread, I did cancel, but my order was "completed" a week after I canceled. So I guess I am in the "order completed, but not received" category?? lol

So, how does that work? Your credit card will re-bill you automatically?

I pre-ordered all three Fewture Getters from TF and after several emails I finally got a response. I sent him my confirmed address so he could provide me a shipping cost. However, I still haven't heard from him in three days. I hope I am not getting scammed.

I received mine from ToyFreakz on Saturday. It's got a few minor issues, though. Not sure what I'm going to do about it, or if there is even a chance for replacement pieces. Time will tell, I suppose.
Btw, how do I vote in this poll? I clicked on the appropriate answer bar in the poll and it didn't seem to do anything.
Edit: Whoops, never mind. It says the poll is either expired or locked. Shouldn't this be kept open?
On a side note, my brother ordered his a week or two after I did, and he has not received any "Order Complete" message yet. Has anyone received their shipment without any kind of notification?

Also I thought I'd mention that David just had a baby so this may be contributing to his late responses. Not making excuses for him, but just wanted to let people know about this.

I believe magengar summed it up best; instead of sending individual emails, a notice in the welcome page of Toyfreakz would've sifficed. I still think that adding the tracking number to the order status page, AND NOT SHUTTING DOWN THE SITE WITHOUT WARNING, would've been the best course of action. No individual email needed then. }D

Didn't get my replacement Voltron hand today either. This was PROMISED (in writing via email) to be sent out of Oregon on October 25th first, then again on October 30th. Well, nothing as of today, and I live in WA. It would take no more than 3 days MAX for a package sent via snail mail to arrive. Today I have officialy given up on Toyfreakz for good. Went ahead and cancelled the other pre-order I had with Toyfreakz and contacted my credit card.
I understand sh*t happens, but sh*t happens only from time to time, not ALL the time! If someone has been paid for their services, that should bind them into providing the service. Talk may be cheap, but when there is money involved, talk is not cheap anymore.
So, I'll keep waiting for the replacement hand to arrive, but I will never purchase anything from Toyfreakz again.

TMZ,
Do you think I should file a compliant with my credit card? I got a call from David telling me that he was going to get the shipping costs from Japan so I could pay him and then he would ship from Japan direct to me.
Your advice would be appreciated.

After all the times Dave has "promised" to do something for me and failed to do so, if I were you I would just cancel. Just imagine if you get the Voltron from Dave, and it happens to have a defective part(s). It would be hell on you to wait for the replacements that MAY NEVER come.
It's all up to you, but like I said, I just can't trust his promises any more.

Still no Volton today. No email, no notification of shipment. Nothing. The only positive about the toyfreakz website being back up is now I can print out that invoice and attach it to all the emails etc and send them all to my credit card company.
Who knows, maybe toyfreakz does want us to cancel. This way he can push his customers away and make us buy up the cheaper priced stocks from the HK/overseas seller on eBay. That way, once the oversea supplies dries up, this greedy scam artist can charge his $350-$400 for them.
Another day, another theory. Toyfreakz, I didn't have a reason to buy from you in the past and will not buy from you again in the future.

This poll was perhaps interesting to start, but if locked, or expired, it is worthless to have this up at this point, while many, including myself just got their orders of VV in, and can't add any vote. Please remove the poll, or unlock/retime it.
