Oh Jon I forgot about those golions you mentioned!!! Also I am pretty sure the Go(N)aikin is still for sale... What is the Go(N)akin I have a set of Godaikin red and green lions froma set I parted out. One lion has grey joints and the other has the half chrome joint. I also have those Korean Variants one is Full size. The other is a mini but the box art is cool it even says Voltron on the box but it lacks in the transforming department. The I instructions show it transforming like the large one but it doesn't the legs don't fold in it has remove able heads for the b lack lion, the toy is a joke but the box and some of the cards and paperwork are pretty cool

The Go(N)aikin is a rare early variant of the Taiwan Godbot (godsigma). It has a straight bootleg of the box cover from the godaikin lid but says GoNaikin with an "N" instead of godaikin, but the toy and overlay inside is a Taiwan godbot. So package variant only.
Nice Korean sets. I have a weird fully transforming plastic off color DX blue lion that is actually all red and we are having trouble figuring out where it came from.

I have seen that red one before I almost bought the set sometime in the past year or so but my money was tied up in other purchases. I'd like to say it was a Korean Variant with a box that said Voltron on the front kinda like this mini version. I saw that Gonaikin, do they come up in better condition than the one that is for sale, it was a bit pricy for the condition.

Are there other versions of the Gonaikin or is Godsigma the only one available in this box.

I think the GoNaikin is available again at a much lower price.
Also, I have never seen another robot other than GodSigma in a GoNaikin box (so far).

I bought the Gonaikin last night the seller and I agreed on 150.00. I have seen the knockoff Dairugger with similar markings that are on the cello of this one.

I'm serious, I'm laughing as I'm typing now. For real, I'm glad someone here got it, Post some pics in the GodSigma variant thread (NOT here!)of the box sides when you get it! I wanna see details!

I swear, I felt motion sickness while trying to read this list! lol Seriously! lol I dunno how on Earth y'all can keep up with all these and other Voltron variants. And these are some of the basic variants Mr. Ginrai listed here. I had a Trendmasters Voltron that was so heavy with die-cast, I sent it away with the rest of my hauls. It was missing its green lion head and I wasn't ever gonna get around to fixing it. I'll fix it later. It seems to be a common thing with used Voltron toys: if any lion head is missing, it's almost always the Green lion head. lol zozo-mag Tony, there are so many voltron variants. If you just stick with the basic die cast one that originated with the popy golion, you have the following: Popy w chrome elbows sharp teeth Popy no chrome sharp teeth Godaikin early transition w chrome elbows sharp teeth Godaikin no chrome sharp teeth Godaikin no chrome round teeth (late transition) Matchbox Taiwan round teeth Matchbox Japan round teeth Trendmasters remold (slight color difference) silver weapons Trendmasters remold (slight color difference) gold weapons Then you have the original vintage Lionbot (which is still produced today at slightly different quality) Then a whole host of rarer lionbots that range from slight figure differences like belt variations, or box/language variations, like cpr has shown. I did it for a while. Had a nice vintage Lionbot and two of the standard golion (second one I listed) and several Taiwan matchbox versions and a gold weapon Trendmaster (this last one is now with xtrlowz75 as of last year and my Lionbot is gone also). I'm just trying to figure out if I am going to keep only my godaikin or one matchbox as well. It is a huge job keeping up. And that doesn't even account for some of the bootleg Korean stuff either!

Sorry,I am addicted, now I'm sure a super mint one will pop up in the next couple weeks that's how it seems to go for me I buy the first one I see, it's usually shot out, then a mint one pops up and I have to tap my resources to buy it. I have some duplicates I need to start selling soon or there won't be an xmas. I'm either gonna purchase a popy godsigma or a popy box with godsigma written out on it next possibly a t28. I've never had the t28 but the timing mat be right. What should I pay for a near mint boxed godaikin t28.. seems like they are asking more for them recently. 2k to 2500.00 is where I'd be comfortable unless that's too high

I just bought an unused t28 godaikin MIB with some age wear and light edge tears to the lid. It was quite a punch to the wallet. It's not all about condition of the box with the godaikin or popy version. There are other important things to note. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss further about what you may want to look for and then if needed we can get a thread going to get some more thoughts. I just hate talking pricing on these openly on the forum because the damn prices never settle. I took the plunge before they'd get any worse (meaning higher) in my eyes.

If this is the red lion you mean, it's from the 17-in-1 Combination Robot bootleg set. A great piece that combines Golion with Dairugger bits and includes the sought after Dairugger sword. These are my favorite of the various Lionbot versions: - Fullsize is the Diamond belt variant with the Sharp crest and ridged pelvis mold updates. This one shows the most updates to the standard DX body, so they really put some effort into it. There are also 2 more Diamond belts versions, both with the regular crest shape, but one with and one without the ridged pelvis. Diamond belts tend to have the best chrome quality of the Lionbots. - Midsize DX combiner - Golion St bootleg - you do not see this one often either. There are many, many box variants that have the same toys inside. I thought I had them all identified, but new ones keep popping up!

Cool! Thanks for sharing the pics crpdiablos. Please add them to this thread, one of the more recent Godsigma threads brought up: robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/21289/god-sigma-toei-japan?page=2There's some comparison pics I had in there, that should help in ID. NOw..I gotta dig up a King Lion to post a pic, and blab some more GoLion in this thread! I think my DX King Lion set has the slightly different box cover.

Just added them. What I thought were mold markings are in different areas than the lettering. I don't see any marking on this to say it was from the same molds. Yes, please show you King Lion Box. I still need the variant that says that on the box.
