I set a limit of 1500.00 but in the last few seconds it's started jumping I maxed at the last second at 2k and won. I didnt think it would go that high but this piece is so nice it scares me to even look at. My t28 money was spent on this but we'll worth it...

The last time I saw a Voltes V in that condition was when my cousin showed me his in 1983, or was it 84. Anyway seeing this again in this state brings back memories of extreme jealousy and longing since this was the toy that every kid in my country wanted but didn't get including me. Congrats on finding a really good specimen.

I may have spent too much but well worth it. Just wondering is it normal for the cello to be off centered of the swords and what is the difference between the black and white trays. Also what would be the best way to display.I definately want it its own case. I was thinking box top to the left with some poster board keeping its shape with the cello styro to the left. Should I put a piece of plexi in between the styro and cello to keep the toys from poking through. this is the nicest piece I have purchased and want to keep it in perfect shape

If you are going to display it in the box, you want it tilted back ever so slightly so the toys don't tile forward (the #1 crewzer and #4 frigate may tip forward). Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? If so they have a sheet of flexible plexi/Mylar type stuff that is really thin and lightweight. It's like $5 or less if I remember correctly but is not with the picture frame stuff. It is in the aisle with the stuff for stained glass techniques. I think it only comes in one size sheet so you may have to get two sheets to fit the lid size, but one might be enough to cover the sensitive areas of the overlay and that would work. If you don't have a hobby lobby I can check next time I am at the one in our state (about 30 minutes from where I live) and I could grab measurements and ship it to you. I know it's not listed on their website. I am also checking on my case size for you. Tied up with the coming snowstorm at the moment.

We don't have a Hobby Lobby not much out here in the way of hobbies.I live in a golf/retirement area near Palm Springs Ca. I just want to protect this piece as it is so nice it would be a shame if I did something wrong that damaged it in any way. The only issues would be a slight crease at the top right of the box and the missing whip otherwise it is museum quality and I want it to stay that way for my son or future collectors if need be

I wish I could go there right now to browse for more casting supplies, but they open at about 9 or 10am, and right now we're getting our butts handed to us by a winter storm since yesterday and it's gonna continue throughout the day, with FREEZING Single-digit temperatures....... BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! zozo-mag

Dang, Its really shiny and minty for its age. Mine is quite banged up and missing so many accessories but Voltes itself is complete. Congrats on such a fine score...
