So is there any indication what GX-65 is? I hope it's not that re-colored Daitarn-3...

Based on the pic it appears to be so

While it would have been much much better if it was a new bot or even the announced GGG, I'm not upset by it. I actually want Daitarn 3 but failed to get it upon it's first release, so this gives me a chance to get one at a much cheaper price than the around $400 I see them selling at.

Oh no... Repaint... With a new number ? I doubt but maybe they will include the new display stand seen at Tamashii this year.

I was kinda hoping that at least Bandai will change the rubber tread to the one used in GX-63.

What the hell Bandai? Really Bandai? Just a recolor and not a reissue with improvements? I'm really disappointed with this announcement.

It's a Repaint alright. A nice repaint.
I also see the sun thing on his forehead looks more elaborate than the one on the first Daitarn SOC.
The blue looks a little more livelier.
If there's any major Practical improvement in this item, as far as articulation and materials, I haven't noticed it.
I've never really watched the series, so I'll pass.
I don't understand why Bandai re-issues items that have been produced the first time around, the way they do things. If it were a major paint app or any engineering flaws or size issues (example: the GX-01 and 02) then I can see their point.
Well, only those who own the first Daitarn will know the differences between that one and this one. If any fans like this new Daitarn, then by all means go for it. It does look beautiful, after all.

I don't think that the first Daitarn includes a display stand with a Name plate in it..

All I care about is the price and it bring cheap enough for me to grab. Looks great and the numbering means nothing to me, to be honest.

Well, at least I have another shot at getting Daitarn-3. I missed the first release entirely and the secondary market price is now skyrocketing to the roof...
