That would be a good idea, it would keep the fans HAPPIER for sure and keep coming back for more for their toys. It probably won't cost Bandai much...

I wouldn't put THAT thing on top of a wedding cake... ...the couple would file for divorce! zozo-mag Check this out. I wouldn't mind getting this one, but not for that price: MAZINGA Z LAB EUR 1,790.00 Approximately US $2,444.96

Hopefully with HLPro coming out with their Universal Base, Bandai will rethink making the Photon Lab for the SRC. Of course, followed by the Fortress of Science, Saotome's Lab, Grendizer's Base, etc... The idea of papercraft bases is AWESOME. Something like the Yamato Danguard Ace included (a download with a password included with the figure) would be excellent too. Bandai had a good idea when they made the SOC Xabungle and Walker Galliar, since they included an enemy robot model kit with the SOC. They should've continued that trend with all the SOC Super Robots. }D

These old bases are rare and expensive.. so not anyone can get them. I think its high time that Bandai should decide to remake these bases like what Popy used to do back in the day. I mean if they are doing modern versions of the mechs.. why not the bases itself. I would even consider it as small as these old Popy bases just to cut down the cost and for it just to be made.. on one condition that they include an updated mini robot. They can even introduce a new line just exclusively for mecha bases.. (Soul of Chogokin Bases... GXB-01 Photon Lab or something like that..lol)

It seems that Bandai is not very interested in the idea, though... The only ones they released in the SoC line were the Mazinger Z hangar, the Reideen mountain, the Nambara Base for the GX-50... maybe some others. But that's the point: not many. I'd so like a Saotome Lab... even a small one, as you said.

U know whats special about these Popy bases..even theyre that small they are very detailed. Look at that beautiful landscape fused with base itself. Some can even split open to view various rooms and areas of the base... like that Grendizer's Dam base for example. As for these bases Bandai has released that u mentioned... i wouldnt even consider them bases.. full bases to be exact. Mazinger hangar is just well.. a hangar. Its not Photon Lab ofcourse. Nanbarra Connection base is just the topmost part of the real Nanbarra base. its more like "the Nanbarra launch pad" to me hehe (Just like the third party Camp big Falcon base) Reideen's mountain is just the same as Mazinger's hangar. His real base is the clam shell base Mutopolis.
Actually...I think Evolution toys has the best chance than Bandai releasing these full bases.. Why??? coz u can see the enthusiasm and eagerness to make products thats never been done before and what the chogokin market lacks. To think they will just be satisfied by doing Mazinger and Great Mazinger heads ala Bandai,,,no.. they even included Mazinkaiser's and Grendizer's! hehe I wish Bandai has that same level of attitude.. then ull know that theyll absolutely consider making these bases.

it would be a great idea if Bandai would just release some downloadable papercraft bases or dioramas If you can get your hands on a copy of this book, it comes with what seems to be a super cool Mazinger Z paper base to cut out and put together.
