True about Goshogun and the difficulty to display. How about Ideon? Probably need to be a pretty big jumbo . I guess I'm one of those jumbo collectors who don't really like the hero ones. I just try to collect the robots. Started with a goal of just obtaining the robots that were on animated series but then Battle Fever J broke that streak. The Jumbo got me watching the show on youtube. Pretty fun stuff. I did not know that show as suppose to feature Marvel's Captain America and Miss America on the show is what is left of that. Also, does anyone know why they replaced Miss Americas halfway through the season? I guess I'll have to wait for Super Sentai, behind the scenes documentary to tell us. Sorry for going off tangent.

I love the hero UM/KR style JMs, would be cool to see different characters done like these.Devilman would rule so hard, a super retro spiderman would be pretty cool looking , not this modern 31 inch stuff for me. Keeping them all at appropriate 24 inch size I think an Ideon would be cool, or even newer characters like the EVAs ,rahxephon,Big O, daigaurd. Definitely need a proper Boss Borot. As long as they are done right with a real retro OG funk I'm down, don't care much for the over modernized designs personally.I don't want over sculpted posable, accessorized behemoths ,UniFive did it right sticking true to the originals just wish they could have kept going.Would have been awesome to see more villains attempted that were never done in the first place, hundreds more cool designs to go from.

BAXINGER!
There needed to be a TT Baxinger jumbo, that split into 4 limb motorcycles, that are like the old rip-cord motor Evel Knievel toy bikes, and the big center command bike/thingie could've been a mini Big Wheel type ride on!

Oh boy my man J, I see your Baxinger and raise you an Acrobunch!!! LoL I would have loved to see a Govarian jumbo (even a bootleg). I would love to see a Sasuraiger jumbo though. That would be great.

I think it wouldn't have taken much for Popy to release Bioman, Dynaman or any other boxy shaped robots those Sentai shows had early on. Maybe even Laserion? Just use stickers for the detail. Collecting jumbos has made me interested in watching some of the series on youtube. Is there a thread that we can talk about the shows? I find some of these unwatchable. Golion is actually a decent show. Tried watching Godsigma, maybe I need subtitles but could not watch after 1 episode. I'm probably in the minority but I think the transformation song is pretty catchy though.

can you put the picture on here Sure can lexcars.... I do not think that this Taekwon V is custom made. Instead, after seeing the Korean text on the other jumbos I strongly believe that this Taekwon V and the other jumbos in the picture were made by a Korean toy company.

So far everyone I've talked to has never seen it. I've talked to a couple of jumbo guys from Korea on FB and they say it must be a custom or they would have had it. I think maybe they made custom stickers for the others..

You guys may get some of your wishes one day.. I think the new Hlpro Jumbos will eventually include some pretty unique characters. It wouldn't surprise me if Gattiger showed up in that line. Maybe even Gin Gin and Giru Giru somehow.

A Goshogun would be too difficult to display. If the robot itself was a standard 24 inches in height, with the red fan blades, it would never fit in any display. My vote is for a Ganira, from Tekkaman. A chunky robot that would look good next to Pegas. I know Tom Franck did a custom, but a production run of this would be cool. tomfranck.blogdrive.com/archive/497.htmlOr how about a Gatchaman Ken? They made plenty of heroes, like the Ultramen characters and KRs. Goshogun would look nice displayed on a bed headboard shelf, with a small floor-lamp placed in front of him so he'll cast a cool giant silhouette of his own shadow on the wall behind him. That there Ganira robot looks mighty cool, nice and chunky. But that mix-match-Gaiking/Daimos parts red-headed "Gaiking" stole my attention as soon as I looked at that page! A jumbo of Gatchaman Ken? Nice...... just use the body mold from the 31" Jakks Toys jumbo Power Ranger; then all that's needed would be the head with his Gatchaman Eagle helmet and a white pleather bird cape with an inner red lining. His sonic boomerang can be custom-made using the Most-Wanted Gaiking's jet-wing pack as the modifier base. zozo-mag

I think maybe they made custom stickers for the others.. Just because those guys have not seen this jumbo it does not mean that it was not manufactured by a toy company. There were Korean made jumbo machinders between 1975-76. Look at the article in this link koreananimation.blogspot.com/2008/02/guest-post-top-5-most-wanted-korean.htmlThe Korean made jumbo machinders are #1 on the list. Therefore, it would not surprise me if the Taekwon V is not a custom.

When I was stationed in Korea back in 90-91 there were little model and toy shops everywhere with just stacks and stacks of weird stuff like what was shown in that article. Most of it I could not identify... and it was dirt cheap. I had the feeling that Korea was just one big Bootleg..

Speaking of Jumbo Machinders we wish were made, besides Red Ronin, what ever happened to the Super Shogun Transformers that Super7 teased us a couple of years ago?
I for one was really looking forward for them, and I am disappointed that Super7 went silent on them specially since this year is the Transformers 30th anniversary.
