I like all those figures. But I've got my eyes on those Destruction packs... I could use those buildings for my SRCs! Great find, bro! zozo-mag

indeed, the figures look pretty cool, granted they are not a high level detail like the SH Monster arts than anything else, but still they look pretty good. BTW is confirm that the Big Godzilla figure is $40. also here some description of Godzilla as well a video of a guy that manage to buy the Big Godzilla figure

Am I the only one who thinks this new Godzilla sculpt sucks big time? Wow... I hope the movie is awesome, because the figures so far aren't. }|

i think for what its made for which is aiming for kids is just fine, however i agree they should have done them a bit better, specially from Bandai. I mean, do we really need 3 versions of Godzilla doing a different thing? why not a simple figure with nice articulation and give it some electronics for sounds and light?
btw forgot to say that the Big Godzilla figure is done by a company called Jakks Pacific, at first i though it was been done by Bandai as well.

Not too happy with the sculpt on the toys overall. They don't seem to be even close to the Bandai Vinyls back 10-15 years ago (which were also geared towards kids) in terms of details and proportions. That $40 Godzilla is great in size, but the sculpt and pose look so 'lazy' in sculpted details. Really wish they made an effort to make some good quality toys, not just to make some quick bucks and be as cheap as they can get away with. Even kids are not that dumb these days... they can tell what looks cooler, after seeing clips and pictures of the 'real' thing online at some point.

i agree that the sculpt should be more refine(specially for the big Godzilla figure, i know is done by another company called Jakks Pacific but i would have like it to see bigger spikes, elbow and knee articulation and a bit more skin detail) so they could look as impressive as the ones 10 years ago Bandai and Trendmaster did, i would gladly pay $70 for the big Godzilla figure with no problems if t was a bit more detailed and far more articulated. However i cant say that the old vinyl figure where cheap either and for smaller size, i mean i use to seem them for around $15 to $20 for a figure that its size where from 6' to 7', now comparing the price of the Big figure that is $40 i think is well worth it in that aspect. I mean, even the vinyl FWGodzilla figure that Bandai still sells at my local TRU and K-mart which the size of it is somewhere around 10.5" tall is at $25 to $30(depending which store you go to). I bought that figure when KB toy's store still was available but it was starting to close down, they had all there products for clearance for 50% on all toys which i got it for $10, that Godzilla figure is quite old and still retains that price of $25 to $30 to this day. Now if i compare the price of the big Godzilla figure which is more than twice the size of the Bandai's FW Godzilla vinyl figure then is far well worth it even with small level of detail.
Granted i so would like the big Godzilla figure to look nicer and i would gladly pay $60 to $70 for it. but since this is more targeting to kids i guess they want it to make it far more accessible ASAP for them. Also i think companies don't want to invest to much because of the fiasco that was Godzilla 1998 movie which it made pretty much everyone to skip the toys, Trendmaster at the time that was selling the figures didn't do so well after how the movie bomb and pretty much almost everyone was dodging any figure related to the movie so i can't blame them for that. Even Bandai that does nice Godzilla figures is not even trying an effort for it.
another video in youtube has gone up comparing other Godzilla figures as the the 18' pacifi rim gypsy Danger with this guy. It seems the big godzilla figure might have had electronics in it so a possible second version is a possibility. is not a surprise that this one those not have it, the figure Darth Vader had the same situation and they made a second version of it with electronics installed.

There's something about that textured plastic surface of that large Godzilla figure... it reminds me of a large hollow chocolate Easter Bunny. Have y'all seen the Godzilla version with the huge gap in its articulated waist? Looks like it ran into a clothesline and got stuck there. Have y'all seen the one with the articulated tail? Looks like a cat tail fractured in three sections! zozo-mag

There's something off about this Godzilla. I still prefer the old japanese designs. Looks like NECA is gonna release one too. Hopefully it's big and cheap! ![]()

indeed, it feels that Bandai literally screw the Godzilla 20014 figures on purpose IMHO, even Trendmaster years ago did a far better job than this with the GKotM set, GW set and G98 visually speaking. Is interesting really, Bandai is doing the classic Godzilla figures and they look pretty good and yet they with the new Godzilla they prefer to let it get screw. The only figures that possibly interest me would be the destruction pack set and Jakks Pacific's Giant Godzilla, other than that, the rest of Bandai's figures looks bad.

Saw the godzilla toys on sale in a local departmental shop, not really impressed with them. The regular Bandai figures (not MonsterArts), or the Neca's? I got two Neca Godzilla figures coming from EE. I hope they don't suck... }D
