These Maketoys Protectobots are so beautiful. Look at how clean Blades' alt mode is!

This is going to be a very expensive Maketoys Year for me! Even armored up, Hotspot is still looking awesome!

Argh. He just looks so badass. I'm really crossing my fingers that this MT Combiner leans more towards the MT Computron style of "relatively complex but sensibly designed" vs. the FP Menasor style of "overly, finger bleedingly complex and over designed".

Is it just me or is MT Defensor going to end up taller than MT Computron and MT Devastator?

I kinda wish MT's combiners were bigger. Their Hotspot is gorgeous, but like Giant its a little small for my tastes. And I've heard there are some issues with Blades' arm mode.

So did many of you guys got this set? I was never a big fan of TF combiners. Not because they are not cool, but having a whole set is a big purchase, and not everything I saw has enough merits to urge me pay the big bucks for a set. But after missing out on all the waiting and reveals on this guy, I recently came across Kuma's video review and others on youtube, and can't help but pull the trigger on getting it as my first 3rd party combiner. While waiting on their arrival, I am very curious on what you guys think about the set, especially after some of you got the chance to handle one in person and can compare to previous sets you bought.
