If Bandai does a Voltes in the same scale as the original DX (or even bigger) from the 80's and even going as far as releasing them per part every 3 mos, THEN YOU CAN TAKE MY MONEY

january 2015 price almost 25k yen keniche, thank you very much for this update with photos! Anyone else notice that the Mazinger Z says GX-01R (40th Anniv.) instead of GX-01R+40? The GX-01R has Rocket Punch Cutters, while the GX-01+ doesn't. Now it looks like they are either redoing the GX-01R or they are merging the GX-01R and GX-01R+ in this 40th Anniversary Version. I do see GX-01R+ in the Japanese text. Can anyone here translate?

From what I can read in the article, it does say they used the GX 01R+ version. It also says they've used metallic colors and a sharper finish (whatever that means)

I don't see any big difference with the new voltes and the first release. Even with mazinger and Aphrodite, not much difference.

I don't see any big difference with the new voltes and the first release. Even with mazinger and Aphrodite, not much difference. they probably fix the flimsiness of the 1st Voltes V release with this version....its like GX31V with the original anime color on it....something like that...thats why its co$t more....lol if this thing sell like pan cakes ill bet theyll do this with the chrome version....

In that case, it's much more than just a GX-01R+ recolor. It seems they actually improved the accessories too by adding the accessories that originally came with the GX-01R, Rocket Punch Cutters, TV series Jet Scrander, etc...all good things.

Well the Voltes bazooka was already upgraded for the 31V wasn't it? So it's basically exactly what I wanted; 31V but in anime colours. Yep that's what I've always wanted too ever since the 31V came out. Didn't really care for the colors, just wanted the upgrades. I hope there's more to it than just that though. Like some form of launching pad similar to what they had on the updated Combattler V would be nice. Might have to consider selling one of my GX-31s to get this

Yet again, Bandai prices me out with the new releases.

^ Where is here? $200 is alright, but $175-$180 is more fair. Philippines, considering how much it sells here $200 is a steal. The pricing here for the previous soc Voltes V is waaaay too steep for my budget.
