Checking numerous sites at various times to see if Voltes or Maz 40th Anniversary editions will be restocked is like being one of the Velociraptors in Jurassic Park checking if the electric fence is switched off.

I have pre-ordered Voltes and Aphrodite A on BBTS but am curious on what Amazon pricing will be... I probably wont order the Maz Z 40th anniv edition as I do have the GX-01R.

BBTS still accepting pre-orders. Shipping from US is a killer, so BBTS is not an option. Angolz is selling GX-31V(40) for $254 US.

Where are you from??? got a quote from BBTS saying shipping from US to Canada would be around $16....thou not sure if its final...but if your NOT in the Northern America then shipping is really gonna co$t much....make sense to get it somewhere in Asia...but then again pre ordering this beast is a far-cry....

Pre-ordered SOC 40th Voltes. Now I really want to buy SOC Combattler V (GX-50 over GX-03 of course) to display and complete the trio along with my GX-43 Daimos. However I'm still on the fence for GX-50 since some members mentioned that Combattler "might" have a 40th Anniversary Version. Can someone verify and confirm this? Are we really getting 40th Anniversary versions of all SOCs? Otherwise, I'll sacrifice a little and pay the high asking price of people currently selling GX-50 nowadays. It seems that GX-50's price is skyrocketing little by little, to the point that I may not be able to afford it / not worth it anymore in the future. Any thoughts/suggestion will be appreciated. (By the way this is my first post, although I've been stalking the boards anonymously since 2012 --- Kudos to all active members here in the boards!)

to me Hello,
The purpose of this message is to inform you that we will likely be experiencing a preorder shortage. Our supplier offered us the Soul of Chogokin Voltes V and we then listed preorders. After publishing our listing and accepting numerous preorders from our customers, we were then informed that this item would be a very limited release. Given the limited quantity of pieces available, we may need to reduce all existing multiple-quantity preorders to 1 piece only. At this time we will not be reducing any preorders yet, but may need to do so once our final order quantity is provided by the supplier. We truly apologize for this matter and we are hopeful that you will be able to add this piece to your collection.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you again for buying from BigBadToyStore!
Sincerely,
BBTS Customer Care

Well I guess I'm glad I cancelled with BBTS when HLJ opened up theirs for Voltes V and got one with them. Hope this isn't another VF-25S renewal scenario with BBTS. A lot of people's orders got cancelled with that one including mine.

BBTS just sent out an e-mail that they are having shortage issues on Voltes V.

I agree that once this goes up on Amazon, I will order one there too. That way i know I will get one. I can always cancel the 2nd order as soon as the 1st ships.

I only have the GX-03, but I'd consider a 40th anniversary version as well.

I received the same BBTS message and was bumbed so I emailed them. They replied stating for those who pre-ordered say 5 Voltes' may be allowed only one, due to the "limited quantities" released. However, those who pre-ordered only one, will not be affected.

Wow I never thought GX-50 price is close to usd 300 these days, and that's not including shipping. I doubt Bandai will make a new SOC Combattler after 03 and the 50. Even though if they will, I will get it if it has improved articulations.

Even though if they will, I will get it if it has improved articulations. Bandai will most likely re-release the GX-50. It most likely won't have improved articulations. However, it will have the same new "metal-flakes" paint and a 10000y price-hike from the previous msrp...
