Nice! HLJ just shipped my Voltes! What? I haven't received the payment request e-mail from them but their e-mail system (in My account) says it has! Lucky you.

I love this new rendition of Voltes. I feel like if you took him off the anime screen and made him exist in the physical world this is what he'd look like (color-wise anyway). I can't wait to add him to the display.

If its not there send them an email saying you never received the payment request. They sent them out on Friday at around 11:55PM US Pacific Time with 3 days to pay before they cancel your order.

what is the msrp for this 40th anniv version? MSRP says 23000 yen but I got mine at 21850 plus 2860 yen shipping. Nippon Yasan's current price (28,500) is with a significant markup. They do this with high demand items unfortunately. Once they are sold out of their allotted stock from Bandai they search local stores for stock and buy theirs. This is the reason for the price increases with them.

Hi all,
I like the blue paint apps on the 40th Voltes as compared to the darker blue on GX-31. Maybe the candy red will grow on me......

Is it me, or are the original and GX-31V not gone down in price? I may just pull the trigger on the 40th anniversary version, but I've been on the fence getting an earlier version. This is my first post, so pardon my newbiness.

See it all the time with Bandai's Macross Frontier Valkyries.

I never knew or thought to extend teh ankle like that in the shooting arm photo? Can it even be done on the GX-31 or 31V? I've never seen that feature before, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there... Anyone knows?

This is my first post, so pardon my newbiness. It just got released last friday, so wait another couple of weeks or so for the pricing of the old versions to drop. Lots of folks haven't gotten theirs, especially international buyers in HK and SEA regions. Mine's scheduled for tomorrow or wednesday and I'm in the US. fwiw, I see a couple at Mandy down to 42k and 24k yen, respectively. At ebay, the original gx-31 is now significantly under US$300, where it used to be at US$350 and up on average. The GX-31V Respect might still retain it's >US$600 scalping-prices, but I see some under US$550 now at ebay. Regardless, not sure where you can even find GX-31V (40th) right now without getting significantly scalped. You may want to wait if HLJ or Amiami gets some second-runs and priced at least at msrp.

Look like the color of latest version match GX-50 better than the first one.

I don't think so. At least for sure the candy apple red of the Voltes will definitely not match. }D
