as much as i hate to say this, at least they allow us to buy a high demand toy, albeit at a higher price. whereas places such as amiami, have long sold out. They allow us? Why in the world of Super Robots will they NOT allow collectors to buy a high demand toy from them? Off course they will, theyre in the realm of toy business.... ...thou theres a price to pay Ooookaaaay......getting particular with words are we?......it means we have a chance of picking up one, yes, at a higher price. If they dont do that, everything will be sold out along with the early preorders. Do amiami do that? Any stock left? If you desperately need one, will amiami be able to help? Their biz strategy simply "allowed", or "enable" us to snag one so yes, i am quite grateful there are places like NY with such offers, at least (most of the time) prices will not reach the heights of ebay. They sure helped me nailed a few dx chogokin valk preorders in the past, which were sold out in record time at amiami. So, realm of toy biz or not, its a good biz strategy if you ask me, it test your resolve, but at least i walk away a satisfied customer having secured my item.

Just got it today, GX-31V (40th anniversary) from HLJ. Did not open it yet but on initial look the box is smaller than GX-31 or GX-31V. Got mine today (along with some other stuff)! w00t! No time to play with it right now, but dang Bandai cheaped out by not including the tray-id cover-sheet. Just that usual brown cover.

bot bros! i luv the 70's... While I'm looking for a good deal on a GX-31, Combattler is also on my "to buy" list. Since the GX-03's are running so cheap on eBay, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on one. Any concerns from any of you that own one that I should be aware of, outside of the reported "floppiness"?

a question bro how you display your GX-03 ? my GX-50 arms got kinda loose with time and i dont know how to fix it and no time to search it up You can check the various suggestions found in the tightening-joints thread: robotjapan.proboards.com/thread/23171/tightening-joints-minor-adjustments-figuresWhile I'm looking for a good deal on a GX-31, Combattler is also on my "to buy" list. Since the GX-03's are running so cheap on eBay, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on one. Any concerns from any of you that own one that I should be aware of, outside of the reported "floppiness"? Maybe I'm just lucky, but both my GX-03 and GX-03B are tight and no looseness/floppiness issues. I don't usually go to ebay to buy SOCs. I usually check out Anime-Export or Mandarake or Jungle-scs for deals since I trust them more than ebay. Sometimes, amiami and hlj will list older SOCs, but very rarely nowadays.

Aside from GX-03 being floppy, (hard time standing up,let alone posing) its a real steal, the paintjob is awesome, its heavy with tons of diecast, get one if you are on a budget, If you have 300-400 dollars to spend, get the GX50...

How is everybody liking the version of Voltes? Compared to the other 2 versions? Is it worth it if you already have the GX-31? Or the GX31V? or Both?

I like it. I'd say go for it if you don't have the other two. I wasn't happy with the upgrades on the original GX-31V and for me was kind of a step back. eg. The Voltes bazooka not being built into the right hand, the fists no longer retracting into the bomber jet, the tank treads being too tall, the antenna on the Frigate being hard plastic. I got this because it's a 40th anniversary version plus I actually like the colors.

The GX-31V is sooooo priced out of my reach... The actual colors on 40th anniversary Voltes are not too strong eh?

I actually got the original GX-31V by mistake since the seller sent me it instead of the GX-31 I ordered. Never bothered sending it back and got the GX-31 later. c",) The colors are in between the 31 and 31V. There should be a picture of all 3 a couple pages back I think. On another note, Voltes V has a special place in my heart and I think if they keep pumping him out,I'd keep buying him anyway. Look at Mazinger Z. How many different repaints, versions of him are we going to get but we keep buying anyways?

Some robots just have that "charm" which makes us buy them over and over, as long as the figures themselves are decent and you can tell that passion went into their making. So, you got the 31V for the price of the regular 31? Lucky dog
