If thats the case, i dunno why Bandai keeps understimating the power of Voltes V in regards to crazed demand from voltes v fans. well, perhaps.. another case of "Combattler is- Big in Japan" thang.. not Voltes. In Japan.. ofcourse. Bandai has been underestimating and understocking most everything in their toyline that does not have "Gundam" or "Mazinger" on the name... Voltes V demand is just soo overwhelming Bandai might not anticipated the high demand. For sure theyll make a 2nd run of it. I mean theyre in the business of selling so most probably theyre gonna produce more....

Demand for Macross Frontier DX Chogokin valkyries have been overwhelmingly high 2-3 years or more running now, but Bandai's been stocking of it at most of the Japanese retail stores in Japan itself is just barely a trickle. Bandai's pulling evil shenanigans for any toyline other than the Gundam line, basically...

Guys a Question is this 40th anniversary for the robots or for Bandai as a manufacture ? It's the 40th anniversary of the Chogokin line of toys and figures well, was. Because it was 2014 (Chogokin line started in 1974, the year Mazinger Z's show ended).

I mean, even those who already have the previous two versions.. is still getting the third one. how about that? ofcourse there will be some shortage. but then again.. we havent seen special V31V got himself reiisued,, only normal color. i hope its not the same here with anniversary issue.

In Japan.. ofcourse. I want to get Combattler too (the "black" version looks cool...no Voltes version?!), but it's easy pickings to get one for as low as $100 USD if you look hard enough. There's also the aformentioned Mazingers. Whoever is the beancounter at Bandai needs to get fired for continually underestimating Voltes V. 100usd actually not the lowest... ive seen second hand black combattlers as low as 80-90usd at toys fairs.. even loose ones with some missing accessories going for 60usd.

I'm a bit disappointed with the absence of the inner box design on the 40th Anniv SOC Voltes. I guess Bandai realized they already spent too much on packaging, with all that "bling" on the outside graphic.

Still nothing from BBTS on my voltes... here's hoping it'll come through still fingers crossed... BBTS is the worst.Their in stock/out of stock is NEVER right, they have the same robots listed at different prices and never correct it,stuff takes forever to get into stock half the time, just not a good place to risk getting the toys in.I wish you the best darkfriar though.
