You guys have to keep in mind that for the past 9 months all sea ports on the West Coast, California to be more precise, are on a union strike that AFAIK is still in effect if a deal was not reached this week. So there are lots of delays.

So there are lots of delays. There is currently an ice age going on in parts of North America too. That can contribute to shipping delays as well.

See my last post above.

Sorry, but what Getter Dragun is that in the picture above? Again sorry for the bad ediquette. That's the Getter Dragon from Fewture, under their EX Gokin line (so far they've released all 3 Getters, Getter G Getters and the Shin Getters I think, along with Mazinger, Great Mazinger and upcoming Grendizer). It's super heavy with lots of diecast , but the downsides are the price tag is around $300-$350. Also, it's highly conceptualized and not based on any exact looking Anime or Manga (it's based on the concept design sketches of the late Toku Sato). Gold

Did not have time to find Mandarake - had to hang out with my relatives.....oh well, I hope Bandai will make a second batch. I'm glad I was able to get the GX31 & GX31V when they first came out

FYI for those waiting on BBTS. I emailed them and below is what I got. They've attached the previous notification as well.
Initial Shortage Notice:
Thank you for reaching out to us! I apologize if you missed our previous communications regarding your preorder for the Soul of Chogokin Voltes V figure. I will recap the message that was sent from BBTS below for you regarding the preorder for this item:
"The purpose of this message is to inform you that we will likely be experiencing a preorder shortage. Our supplier offered us the Soul of Chogokin Voltes V and we then listed preorders. After publishing our listing and accepting numerous preorders from our customers, we were then informed that this item would be a very limited release. Given the limited quantity of pieces available, we may need to reduce all existing multiple-quantity preorders to 1 piece only. At this time we will not be reducing any preorders yet, but may need to do so once our final order quantity is provided by the supplier. We truly apologize for this matter and we are hopeful that you will be able to add this piece to your collection.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you again for buying from BigBadToyStore!
Sincerely, BBTS Customer Care"
Update/Response to my email:
Unfortunately, we still have not received any official communications from the manufacturer/supplier regarding the limited availability of the Voltes V figure. I apologize there is no additional information at this time. It is our hope that we will receive the amount of supply anticipated, and we are able to fill all orders secured for this item as-is. It is a very rare and unfortunate happening when we are informed of happenings such as this, and we do appreciate your patience and understanding.
When we receive any updated information, we will be sure to let you know right away! In the meantime, feel free to monitor your active preorder from your BBTS account main page for any changes or shipment confirmations. We have recently received a partial shipment of the items, so we are hopeful that the remaining stock is shortly to follow! Preorders are filled on a first-come first serve basis, so orders will be filled accordingly as the inventory is received into stock.
At this time we are still awaiting our shipment(s) to arrive. We are at the mercy of the suppliers and manufacturers when it comes to preorders, as they tend to provide very little information about exact arrival and/or ship dates. Often times we may not receive any updates on products until they are in transit to our facility. If an update is provided by the manufacturer that a product will be delayed, we do our best to send out notices in advance to keep our customers aware. If there is no update available, we will then change over the month or time frame of every existing preorder once the previous month or quarter has ended. We would love to have everything arrive on time as expected with firm release dates like movies and video games for example, but unfortunately in the world of toys it can seem anything but consistent! I apologize that no further information is available.
Feel confident that we ensure every effort is taken to get your items out to you as quickly as possible once they have arrived in stock! We are very anxiously awaiting their arrival as well!

Not cool. I bet the ToySource is in the same boat as BBTS well as my buddy who preordered from them says he hasn't heard anything yet.
