When oh when is the full reveal going to be? The wait is literally killing me. When GX-50 was released for Combattler V, was it slightly larger in frame to GX-03? Or were they the same exact size? I'm really hoping for that slight chance we get a larger Voltes V. The GX-50 was a little bigger. I don't think they share any parts.

I wished that the new voltes will have the SOC GGG treatment regarding the joints specially for the knees and groin area.

Lol... since we're all waiting for more news on Voltes (and already sidetracked this topic 6 ways to Sunday) I thought I'd share this little tidbit in case folks haven't been following the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series.
Introducing SUPER ROBO MECHA FORCE FIVE!!!!!
Episode 1 (From the episode Mutagen Man Unleashed)
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4
Episode 5
Episode 6 (Jump to 3:00 minute mark)
Episode 7 (Jump to the 6:00 minute mark)
It's a parody of Voltes and Voltron plus other Anime, set as a TV show in the TMNT cartoons.
I originally wanted to provide direct videos of the show from the TMNT stuff, but I couldn't upload all of the videos I edited (some vids will, some vids won't, I just can't figure it out, sorry) so I uploaded what I could and sourced the other vids from Youtube. They're only 30-40 seconds long but very funny.
In the first TMNT season, the Turtles watched a parody of Star Trek. The captain usually slapped his whiny subordinate every episode, they ported that gag over to this "series" .

Thanks Gold, now I'm so full of "parody" that I actually want to watch the real show Which wouldn't be a bad thing I guess, people say it's a classic. Let's see... 40 episodes?!? Oh my.

I don't really like the original Voltes SOC release. The arms can barely be made to make him hold the sword double handed and the waist/leg joints are flimsy and it makes him wobbly and difficult to pose properly. I have heard that the second GX-31V release fixed those issues but I am still not optimistic. Design wise it looks pretty awesome and Voltes happens to be one of my favorite Super Robots.

No there is no fix on GX-31V for those issues its the same toy as far as the robot itself goes, one other thing that needs to be addressed is the unsightly waist pegs for the yellow strips, those need to be collapsable or eliminated.

I left a comment for you on that youtube page. That custom walking Voltes is so cool! You oughtta copy the guts, some motors and servos from scanners, printers, and miscellaneous desktop gadgets, and make other custom walking robots as well! zozo-mag
