Thank you guys. I think I have other plans. no Gunbuster & no Voltes V. I know I hate it so much, but I have to. lol
Let's just say I'm trying to complete a group first. It's gonna be worth it for me.

Oh don't say that. I have so far managed to avoid a craving for Daltaneous, but between this and Chachipowers re-review this week resistance is weakening.

Just curious what's an R version? For adults only as in Rated R? Kidding aside I was thinking if Bandai will reissue Daimos, Im guessing it will follow the 40th Anniv candy scheme. Like what they did with Mazinger, Aphrodi & Voltes V. Just a thought. well some one is in a good mood these days i hope so, so i will have them all in limited edition form R version mean Renewal but im sure you already know that Even though we're going slightly off-topic, I feel like I should talk briefly about the works of the late Tadao Nagahama. For his wasn't a trilogy . It was a series. Commonly known by fans as the "Romantic Robots Series", it's comprised of: 1976's Chodenji Robot Combattler V 1977's Chodenji Machine Voltes V 1978's Tosho Daimos AND 1979's Mirai Robot Daltanious
Don't forget Daltanious guys, for it is just as important as the other 3 robots. Also, Nagahama worked on the second half od the Brave Reideen episodes, one ought to check them out too to have a complete picture of his works and ideas i dont think thats true bro because the trilogy means three also Combattler V, Voltes V and Daimos are kinda related we saw some characters from Combattler in both Voltes and Daimos if you need more info read here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robot_Romance_Trilogy

And even the page says: The Robot Romance Trilogy (長浜ãƒãƒžãƒ³ãƒãƒœã‚·ãƒªãƒ¼ã‚º Nagahama Roman Robo ShirÄ«zu?, lit. Nagahama's Romance Robo Series)Apparently in Japanese it's called a series. Heh, go figure. I don't know why it was called a trilogy when it is essentially a quadrilogy. Nevermind the fact that some characters from one series might make a cameo in the next one (cause, by that logic, Violence Jack would be a sequel to Mazinger Z since Koji appears in it). It's not about story continuation, it's about common themes and story elements shared by all 4 cartoons. Sure, it was less of a novelty by 1979, when Daimos ended and Daltanious started. Nevertheless, Daltanious is a child of Nagahama, and just as important as its brothers. Honestly, I don't know why it's called a trilogy in English.

Daltaneous was supposed to be Voltron. That's what WEP (or whoever was the importer at the time) thought they had bought. But there were some language problems between the studios. So when somebody said "the one with the Lion" the Japanese dude on the other end tossed GoLion in the box of tapes to be sent instead (remember this was pre Internet). By the time the error was discovered it would take weeks to fix, so they just used GoLion. The rest is history.

I mean the dude asked for "The Lion Show" and he got The Lion Show.

Awesome, bader! So I'm torn. Now that I'm seeing more GX-31V's at a more reasonable level, if I were to buy one now, which should I open up? I have my original GX-31, unopened. Should I open that one since it had some flaws in its function?
