not a cap guy but it will look good next to the 40th anniversary I was tempted to buy this yesterday but it would be hard to wear it since it's red and quite showy and might attract the attention of some no good people who might decide they want my cap and snatch it away which I've seen happen too many times. No point buying a cap if I can't wear it plus it costs as much as an src figure which i'd probably prefer much more than a cap. Anyway it's still a cool cap and I might buy it if I have some extra left after the src jeeg.

Excellent, questions regarding plastic antennas from Volt Landers & Frigate
1. Antennas bent, attempted to flex opposite direction overnight but they just return to former bent shape. Any suggestions? 2. 3rd party chrome antenna replacements?
Thanks

One thing I don't like one bit about the GX-01R 40th Mazinger Z is that the user manual is black and white. What happened to nice, full color manuals? Cut backs because of the recession? Yes, the quality of the box art and the user manual are important too.

I thought the manuals didn't go full color until much later in the line?

The packaging and manual of the 40th Anniversary of Voltes V is just as disappointing. No more color front pages of bios and interviews. Not even much picture of the toy. Just the bare bone instructions. I gave away my old GX-31 to a friend as a gift after I got the replacement. But the worse packaging almost make me want to change my mind giving the old one away...

With the most number of post & most talked about in RJ, Is it safe to assume that GX31 Voltes V is the most favorite & famous Chogokin in Rj? Even in chogokin sales the Anniversay Voltes V edition top Mazinger Z by a mile.

The 1st release was the flimsiest version, from my experience maybe case to case but mine is soo flimsy I couldnt get a proper pose I like when displaying it. I thought that the respect version was the most expensive, the 40th candy red version think is latest and bandai have made some fixes on it. Though others claim its all the same gimick as respect version. I havent opened my 40th version, no more space to display it. LoL.

of course it will out sell Mazinger since Bandai is the only company who makes Voltes V and they only made 3 version, every fan is going to it specially those who missed the first two versions but the last laugh is for Mazinger Z just how many version in SOC or SRC ? they all have decent sales even they are almost identical and there is a small time gap between them and you can find the GX-31 40th anniversary for less than $300 here www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/12355-soul-of-chogokin-chogokin-40th-anniversary-ver-gx-31v-voltes-v-reissue.htmland i guess the DX Great Mazinger sold out much faster than Voltes V some stores even asked more than the MSRP
