Question from a noob. Is there improvements between 40th anniversary Voltes and the original SoC version? Yep, the 40th follows the 31v version retool, which has better groin and ankle joints so it's a bit more stable when standing (it was tricky to balance the original a bit, since the joints tend to be a little loose). Second, the Voltes Bazooka is now a seperate piece that fires, this also follows the redesign used in the 31v. Lastly is the colors, it's more metallic. Some like it, some hate it. Gold

Nah they're not legit. Alot of reports of animepoko being a scam. Look at they're price for Golion.

I have the Respect version. At MSRP it was around the same as the re-issue. You just never see it not third party with heavy markup as its rare. It is however absolutely gorgeous. The markings really give it some life and focus. It has the same joints as the Anniversary version. Overall the joints on all of these are SOC type joints. Better than the classic Popy and DX by miles, but nowhere close to SRC due to compromises for transformation. All of the combiner SOC's are a little wobbly around the hips and knees. And while you can get some dynamic poses, you won't get close to what you can achieve with SRC. The articulation on my Voltes is on par for better or worse with my Gunbuster, Ideon, Combatler V, Daitarn 3, Zambot 3 Daioja and Trider G7. Some have better knees, hips or shoulders, but they all fall within the same general ranges. is this dynamic enough bro ? joking aside, i get your point SRC is by far better articulated than the SOC, but the 40th anniversary Volts V have a decent articulation if you compare it to the older releases they improve it alot, most of us want to see this new joints get to some of the older SOCs for better poses also the joints on the 40th anniversary are better than the respect version and the first release specially the legs and when you transform it to Combattler V Grand Dasher mode thge GX-31.. I got it used.. I just put clear nail polish in the groin.. Voila!! tight and sticky joints

Sorry for the bump but I have a question, does the leg of Voltes V 40th flop down when you raise it up forward or side ways?
