I would totally get that Legacy Thunder Megazord if it sat around long enough and get discounted to $100. The quality from what I saw in that review is just top notch.

Titanus was supremely expensive up here in Canada and now, TRU is not selling it anymore. So, I guess that ship has sailed. The incoming legacy Thunderzord looks cool too but the asking price on BBTS is very high too...so, I'll have to pass.

We can always try to get you one at TRU retail (or with coupon if we have an extra coupon) but I don't know how much shipping would be. I'm in the northeast US - are you in central or eastern Canada at all? If you are in the west it's probably not going to be worth it. I mean the thunderzord. Titanus' box was huge and wouldn't be cheap to ship.

Thanks for the offer, Ginrai...I recall there was a sale at TRU that I heard about for the US stores where Titanus was being sold for a nice price. When we looked into shipping, I may as well bought the Canadian version, LOL. And with the exchange rate now and the way how the economy is going up here, I should be more selective with my purchases.

Holy crap is the Thunder Megazord pricey...$200USD. With the brutal exchange rate, I held off on getting it but it's now showing up in Canada's TRU system (albeit, it has since disappeared)...so, I am heavily considering getting it.
Just not sure why it's so freaking expensive considering how much less the other Legacy Zords have been to-date.

The box size is at least 3 times as big as the others. Box size is similar to Titanus which is why it's priced similarly. Exaggerated a bit with the box size. More like double.

Sadly, there's too many people who'll impulse buy it for 200 instead of waiting for a not-ridiculous price.

So...I decided to buy the Thunder Megazord. Picked it up when Amazon had it for $160. While still a bit overpriced I bit the bullet because I didn't want to be trapped in a state of always waiting for the right price. Plus this is a childhood dream figure of mine so I didn't mind. The figures themselves are pretty big and really well detailed. What makes it shine even more is that most of those details are well painted. They're mostly static other than being able to move their necks up and down expect for the phoenix which could also move its wings. Same thing can be said about the Red Dragonzord, though it's much more articulated. Wish it could its neck more so it can be posed like the second season credits scene but that would be wishing for too much. Combined form is a sight to behold. this thing is gigantic. Unfortunately it's front heavy, especially with the spear. Articulation is very limited as well and the only obviously die-cast part seems to be the shoulders/lion paws. Still, I love this thing. Hopefully they make a Shogun/Zeo Megazord after they release the Ninja Megazord.

My brother told me there are huge quality control issues with the first run of these. You might want to read the grumbling a on the Internet and make sure you got/get a revised version.

Ninja Megazord is next in the Legacy Line. Also, not sure if anyone picked up the white Falcon?

FWIW, I bought the Thunder Megazord from TRU but ultimately ended up returning it...just too $$$ despite how impressive-looking it is. I did briefly check out the toy and have to say, it's nice. Although, not as hefty in diecast as I had thought.

Other than the leaning it seems I lucked out and my toy doesn't have those issues. Though man I can't imagine how terrible it would feel if my Griffon/Unicorn were missing their connectors. It would be impossible to form the megazord. FWIW, I bought the Thunder Megazord from TRU but ultimately ended up returning it...just too $$$ despite how impressive-looking it is. If there are any more they're just for support and are difficult to find/sense.

Thanks to your post I decided to check mine again since I got the first release and after checking the figure, it went right back in the box. Sure enough when I examined it again, I had the leaning issue and the wing of the Phoenix Zord was loose. I contacted bandai and they told me that they will send the fix for "the lean". 4 to 6 weeks is the eta.

Saw the preorder on BBTS a couple weeks back...looks good. I'll wait until the TRU here in Canada sells it. Hopefully not as pricey as the $250 asking price for the recent Thunder...

u paid for what you get. The differences between 150 from amazon vs 200 from TRU is first and second batch.
The first batch has some leaning issue which is why its only 150. second batch had some improvements to the legs and it is being sold in TRU.
Personally, I think this is overpriced at 200. I still see some legacy line available in TRU for almost half the price that I originally paid for. I rather wait until it is on sale for 99.
