Congratulations and thank you for the in-hand pictures. Well, after looking at those shots, I confirmed that this figure is definitely not for me. Yet, out of curiosity, I may be willibg to pick one up in a super discount fire sale, just like I did with the Dino Getters. I guess if it drops below $70 USD, it would be a no-brainer to get it - yeap, just like with my Dino Getters. It is just too different from Gaiking for me. Reminds me a lot of a Jeeg statue another member was showing here in RJ a couple of months ago. Not bad, but not my taste. }D

@kumastyle.com you always take really nice pics. what do you shoot with? A caaaaameraaaaaaaa... So, one thing I'm not digging is putting the melee weapons in his hands. I wish that they made then to where the handles came off to just slide them through the open fist like a lot of other toys. As is, I just decided to keep his right on the weapon even when not attached to the body to keep from being bothered.

Nice reviews guys but a little more research on the subject goes along way. Better to just review the toy and plead ignorance about the show than have too little knowledge. I couldn't get over my annoyance at your assumptions to watch your full videos. My apologies.

I couldn't get over my annoyance at your assumptions to watch your full videos. My apologies. - I think about a minute or two in I'd said it's been years since I've watched the source material and didn't rewatch prior to reviewing it. - If you didn't make it a minute or two into the review, then how can you call them "nice reviews" and make critical judgements? - The above question is rhetorical. The full written/pictorial review is up for Gaiking here: kumastyledesigns.com/toy-reviewpictorial-sen-ti-nel-metamor-force-gaiking-the-king/Here are some pics from it:

Kuma Style, I watched your review through to where you spoke about attaching the cape approaching the halfway mark and based my comments on my thoughts until that point. Of course you said you haven't seen the show for years and that this was an re-imagination and I understand that. Your notes on the pegs are good ones. I'm also passing this feedback on to Godaikin 13's video. I got as far as the knee joints on that video. Maybe I just got up on the wrong side of the bed today, I'm not usually a jerk. Take care guys and looking forward to more of your contributions, especially the awesome photos.

- Please don't take this personally, I'm not criticizing anyone personally, just giving my feedback on the videos. And I responded to you appropriately. To say "I have not watched this in x amount of time and am not going to" right off the bat to absolve myself of putting out the perception of having current knowledge of a series, and then be told to admit that I should have admitted to not having current knowledge of the series doesn't even make sense. That's erroneous feedback and is the equivalent of talking to someone in person and getting asked a question that shows that the person didn't listen to the very last sentence that came out of your mouth. It's not a big deal though and I appreciate you watching as much as you felt appropriate to. ------------------------------------------- For anyone who got this guy, is there anyone who's found a decent fix for those "W" tabs on the sides that hold the cape down? When they're in, they stay ok, but then pop off on one side in particular for me everytime I re-position his legs. Also, if anyone was lucky enough to pick up the open face version at a convention already, I'd love to see some in-hand pics. I've got it preordered but the more I look at the promo pics, I honestly just want to cancel it.

When I make a review I will buddy, promise.=) I've been thinking about it but not sure what type of video camera to use. Your reviews are pretty sharp. What is the name and brand of the digital camera you use when doing your video reviews? Also would you mind sharing the camera brand and model, megapixel, and f-stop and aperture settings you use when doing your photo reviews? You do not have to share if you do not feel comfortable.

I don't believe you, but there's no reason for discussing it further as I don't really care; just giving crap. And I don't really answer photography questions. Nothing to do with comfort or unneeded permission but rather the questions normally being uncouth. ------- Still looking for relevant help with this one.
