Oh wow. I hope that 170 mm isn't a typo. That would explain the high SRP. For some reason, Asia versions are cheaper, but takes longer to roll out. I guess Bandai's strategy is to really stick to the Japanese markets for maximum profits? The price difference sometimes is staggering. Gold Not a typo. He's officially 170mm, per tamashii.jp/item/10873/Thanks man, I was trying to find the link for that. Gold

At 170 mm this SKL will be bigger than mazinkaiser regular! As mazinkaiser was stated to be 160 mm ! This is huge

No wonder the price was kinda high as well the mold looked different, i was thinking they just retouch it a bit to make it look nicer but inestead we get a new mold figure for it. I notice it at the base of the neck since its missing the line details there that the original SRCSKL had. But it could be still in work so changes might occure, after all this figure will be out next year so its a long time for changes and such.
Im extremely surprise they would do a complete new mold intead of using the original SKl mold or the current Mazinkaiser mold at least, but instead we get a bigger mold than the other 2.

I was looking at the pic trough my phone so i couldn't see it very clearly. But as i said, this thing is still on work so any changes will occure later on. the irony of it, in the OVAs when Skl was in battle he would show this kinda girly-waist in some scenes. More specifically when using the range mode.

Thanks bro! Got me one! Yeah, I saw the same thing happen when the 40th Anniversary GX-01R+ went on sale. It was gone in a flash from Amiami, never to return. I don't know why they just don't order more... }D

AmiAmi and other Japanese retailers only get units allocated by their distributors. So even if they order more units, it is up to the distributors to fulfill them. I know this because I once asked AmiAmi the same question, and that was the reply that I got from one of their people. I was lucky to pre-order the Mazinkaiser from AmiAmi, but the other items I wanted to pre-order, Robo Damashii Botune and Gundam FFMC Banshee Norm were sold out in seconds. Heck, Banshee was sold out in less than 5 seconds!!! I was lucky enough to pre-order the last two on Nippon-Yasan. (but had to wait till 1:15 AM to o so. Yeah, I know, I am crazy). Anyway, we all have to thank Bandai for their stupidly strict pre-order rules for retail versions of their products.
