Hi guys, I live on the east coast, New York.
I recently purchased something from Mandarake.
They sent me a shipping notification that stated item shipped via EMS and left Osaka Japan.
That was over a week ago, and I still haven't received my package.
Usually, I receive EMS shipments within 3 or 4 business days.
Anyone else experiencing delays?

Yes, and I think we should get reimbursed by the postal service for the extra cost of EMS. It is BS that we pay so much for express mail service, and then the package takes almost as long as Registered Mail to arrive. }|

You probably only got a foot or less of snow. I'm further northeast than you. Everything is delayed at least a week due to the snowstorms we have been getting pounded with.
We got two feet of snow in last week's blizzard. My carrier said that the snow from NJ to Maine shutdown delivery for at least a day and the planes moving shipments for 1-2. They continued to process what they had locally at the big main post office hubs in each state but couldn't move it after it was sorted.
We got another foot yesterday and have another coming today.
I had a ups ground package (3-5 day) from BBTS, which usually gets to me in two days take over a week. I had a us postal service priority mail box (1-2 day) from NJ take 1 week. It is all backup and bad timing.
Remember that with EMS once it hits customs or your local PO here, they still have to deliver it. If they can't deliver due to weather constraints, that's what delays it.

We did get some significant amounts of snow, although minor compared to you guys. I feel comforted that I'm not the only one with delays. Almost felt nervous that my package was lost in Neverland. Thanks for your input Mr. Ginrai.

Thanks for your input Mr. Ginrai. Even before the snow for the past 2 months PRIORITY mail has taken 4-7 days to get to me FRom anywhere USA to NY!! and Im talking 20 plus packages.

Wow Baron, thats just nuts. I feel the US postal service has become more and more unreliable, while their price continues to increase.

Where I'm stationed, EMS DOES NOT deliver to your doorstep. We have to go to the Airport hub in order to claim the item. You already get shafted by the customs charges and also pay for the additional transport cost. Avoid it like the plague!

Isn't there some strike going on somewhere? Or is that west coast?
