damn... im now having regrets getting the Yamato release.. specially if this one's the superior version.. moreso if this one's smaller... Yamato's version is huge... with that cursed shoulder joint.

No it's not canned the final prototype was shown a few week ago at Art Storm fest in japan and i guess they wait for the Wonderfest in the beginning of February to make the final announce with preorder date and price

Definitely not canned, they had the prototype on display at Super Festival, just over two weeks ago. But it didn't look anywhere near ready for production, unless of course they didn't bother to bring a newer sample to the show. Anyway, it looks killer in the flesh.

Love the Garland, but the engineering of the toy(s) has always been poorly executed. Think I'll wait for in-hand reviews before parting with my cash, especially as Fewture could easily have stuffed this up...got a semi bad vibe about this one.

When I look at the windshield and blade-angle tips (of the shoulder) in front of the wheel in this pic... And then look at this pic of how the windshield opens up to reveal the head and the different blade-angle shape of the shoulders... That whole charcoal windshield glass piece and the tips of the shoulders look like entirely different pieces. I'm...getting...a...partsformer...vibe...here... ?

Man, still no final production shots anywhere? that's a worry... Hope this ain't another mediocre Garland design.
