Huh??? do u mean all of them? I think he's just referring to the Reideen SoCs. Well, they weren't terrible, but not that great either, in my opinion.

Bleah! I mean it's one thing if the robot is supposed to look like that...but this? Yuch! show of hands, who here wouldn't like to see a nice fully Chogokin Escaflowne! Or if you want to go all "Wing Gundam" on the subject just do a Rahxephon (or however you spell it). But Raideen is one of the most classic and recognizable robot designs ever made. And this? This is NOT Raideen. This looks like somebodies design leftovers repurposed as something it's not. I mean the head alone looks like an evil Lord of the Decepticons.
And the SOC's were mechanically terrible, but at least looked good (so long as you didn't attempt to move them, pose them, transform them or in any way touch them, because once something falls off it will never be found in the carpet, and oh so many things will fall off.)

this is getting really away from anything id buy now. just too out there.
After the G Getter team, EX design is getting progressively, for the lack of better term," wild. " too wild even for ex line....too crazy as in lost control.

i agree with you guys but if you look to this photo you will see why its no like any Fewture product, because its not design by Taku Sato and for me i see that Taku is the one responsible for making Fewture EX Gokin figures look pure awesomeness i guess the last Gokin Taku worked on was Grendizer even if he didn't finished it and it was kinda concept now Fewture is trying so hard to mimic his work for me i cant judge now for sure because its still a prototype, but i gotta feeling its the same case like Grendizer when we saw it most of us said pass but now most of us have one

personally, I think it looks great (his face especially) but it's hard to "imagine" how it'll look finished with the really shiny, polished finish and whatnot. I think once the colors are added and the parts separation is more blatant then the hype for this guy is going to increase dramatically.

NINNIN does a lot of art for video games and toys so they are pretty well known. They do stray from Sato in that while he had a Gothic/Steampunkish bent these guys are more Modern Techno/Organic biased. I guess Fewture had to do something if they wanted this line to continue and with diminishing Sato designs they were heading for a dead end.

hmmm...I thought it looks pretty good, especially from certain angles. but whether I will spring for it in the end, will depends on the final paint job (which I feel will make or break the overall design) and price tag. I definitely cannot foresee myself paying fewture grendizer price range for this robot.

Don't really look like "Raideen" to me. Maybe the King Tut beard and whiskers of the bird. I do like the look of the face though. If you were to show that to me without telling me its Raideen...I probably wouldn't know who it is. Wonder if it can go into bird mode.

I like it. Even though I am not familiar with the source material, I do think this is a heavy departure and has a lot of Super Robot wars inspiration. That being said, I still like it, and I think this looks much better than the SRW designs. I hope to pick it up if its out in the near future.

I just don't feel it, it is not "Raideen". Too muscular... shame, I really like Raideen.

I think it looks pretty good but it's the final colours that will make or break it.
