I'm kinda annoyed at the Goodsmile ver of this. Its 70% of the size but that price reduction is insane... only 50 bucks? wtf

Holy Wizard! I've had this fig on preorder since July, and the in stock date keeps getting pushed back. It was supposed to be available in November! BBTS responded to me asking what they knew, "At this time we are still awaiting our shipment(s) to arrive. We along with many other online retailers are at the mercy of the suppliers and manufacturers when it comes to pre-orders, as they tend to provide very little information about exact arrival and/or ship dates. Often times we may not receive any updates on products until they are in transit to our facility. If an update is provided by the manufacturer that a product will be delayed, we do our best to send out notices in advance to keep our customers aware. If there is no update available, we will then change over the month or time frame of every existing pre-order once the previous month or quarter has ended. We would love to have everything arrive on time as expected with firm release dates like movies and video games for example, but unfortunately in the world of toys it can seem anything but consistent!"
And also said this, "It's always a possibility that the manufacturer cancels a product solicit with our company, either in part or in whole, and that we are unable to provide the item."
I will be so friggin ticked if this falls through! Look at those prices on ebay! $1000?!!

I have a third one MISB I'll sell for $800. Lowest Price on the net. That's not helpful. Did it cost you $500 to store the figure these past couple of years? I'm actually disturbed that you would prey on fellow collectors on this forum. Keep your 3rd copy; maybe you'll meet a rich boy, or a sucker?

I'm no moderator here, but please keep it respectful.
But I have to agree, the price asked is insulting to someone who might not receive his order.

I wouldn’t take it as an insult. He offered a price for highly sought after figure. You can take it or leave it. Even counter offer if you like. A lot of us collect not only because we love it, we also see it as an investment. I’ve noticed a few times on this board lately that people are complaining about price gouging or scalping. I’ve missed the boat on many figures that I had to pay after market prices for. That’s how it works. I really hope BBTS gets your pre order. It’s a great figure. It was expensive when it came out and price goes with supply and demand once stock runs out. Wait for a better deal if you want but don’t be insulted by someone’s offer.

Try countering it.
If not then save that $800 for near future Sentinel Riobot release, which Im 100 percent SURE it will be LOT better then Riobot Mazinkaiser in every possible way....

I'm going to get to the bottom of the matter with my preorder at BBTS. Someone must have some answers!
Kuma, Sorry for calling you out. It's a rough market, and from some points of view your offer is a generous one. Thank you, but I'm not interested at that price.

I was just joking (About selling it; not owning the third. Personally I think the going rate is ridiculous,) but to humor this - - Nothing matters in a transaction of a product besides the price set by the seller and what the buyer is willing to pay besides the set prices of it elsewhere. Simple supply and demand. If you don't like second-hand prices (which is understandable,) buy things immediately. You're not entitled to prices you prefer after items have sold out. - You have no reason to be "disturbed" besides either a handicap or general oversensitivity to meaningless things. "Preying" on people would be witholding necessities like food and water from them at unobtainable prices, not selling luxory, material items like TOYS at the going rate. Grow up. - No one is a "sucker" for buying something for hundreds lower than the going rate. A "sucker" holds out on decent deals acting as if he or she is too good for them while continually complaining as the price continues to grow up. Stay triggered and I really do hope your order goes through as planned.

I don't want to be off-topic, but there is a reason why market price go up, and we can't blame somebody for wanting the most for his thing. But on the other hand, one of the main reason this board is so active is because the respect we have for each other, and nobody ever rip another member... and lives
It's a free market after all!
Now about Mazinkaiser..... It look amazing, but I don't think it's worth 1K

Now about Mazinkaiser..... It look amazing, but I don't think it's worth 1K Thank you for this pretty objective post. When it comes to sales here, I'd say honestly there are some good deals but a lot of the stuff goes in line with 2nd-hand value. I also don't think of that as "ripping someone off" per se as to me that's more selling something with problems or things missing that wasn't disclosed rather than selling something at a price that both parties obviously agreed to. And I agree on Mazinkaiser. I love it but not $1,000 love it. I get it, though because in my opinion it's the best iteration of the character in collectible form to date on multiple levels and the chrome reissue just doesn't have the same visual impact as the regular. It sucks but it's nice to see a Sentinel product be on the receiving end of one of these price hikes because it shows more appreciation for their products and hopefully it drives more people towards more immediate purchases rather than the almost-meme-worthy "I'll wait till it goes on clearance." attiude.

We evolve as society and we tried to avoid that rule when it comes to items needed to survive like food, water, even electricity, but everything else is about the market price. If someone sold a house for the same price that he bought it when now it worth three times that value we would say it stupid, it's the same with collectors items. I would never be angry if someone offered me a figure for the same price they are selling it everywhere else, I would call that a fair deal, even a favor because probably it's a trusted fellow member. Sorry for the off topic but I think sometimes people get confused and believes that the seller is trying to scam them when they are only getting a fair price for a very rare sold out item.
