I wonder if the run is going to be limited like it was before, and I wonder how many it'll end up being. I can see the Boba Fett's going really quickly though, I know I'm already getting one for sure! I'm a little disappointed that the Shadowtrooper is basically a repaint of the Stormtrooper, but I guess it means less money they have to spend on development and hopefully more where it counts!

These are going to sell sell sell and then no one will be able to get rid of them. At the CDX summit there were no less than four storm troopers available and one was priced at half of the other three. None of them sold. They look great but they are a novelty crossover piece even if you are into jumbos. I feel this series has very limited appeal to modern robot/toy collectors and Star Wars collectors as its main buying groups. Not that vintage collectors don't buy them, but I just don't see it.
I know Super 7 had a lot of other big things in the works but I would have cut back the production on these a bit more and also tried to push out the fett and the shadow much much sooner. I feel they have let this line cool off way too much.
The only thing saving them here are the movie Godzilla jumbo, the potential upcoming reissue/restyled Godzilla jumbo, the potential shogun warriors line, and the potential voltron and megazord jumbos. Without a few other companies jumping in with those products I feel these would still be very very niche even though they are extremely well done.

This whole thing wasn't going to happen until Funko stepped in. The Shadow Stormtrooper will be made at the original factory of the Stormtrooper Shogun and will be released at Celebration on April 16th. The Boba Fett is going to be made in a different factory and will be released at SDCC. Since they are working with Funko, I am hoping for a lower price cut.

Not feelin' the Shadow Trooper. Might pick up at $150 or less but I will be buying 2 Boba Fetts. I've been waiting patiently for this bad boy for what 5 years? Fan of the character fan of Jumbos so no brainier plus I gotta support the effort. These are made by fanboys for fanboys. Not for profit.

I don't own any 'Modern' jumbos so I'm glad that they're coming out. I prefer Fett over the others because I could buy him as a standalone piece and not worry about him looking like an 'army piece' without the backup army beside him. If they did a bunch of army type ones like Clone Troopers or Droids I'd probably pass but iconic characters like Cheebacca or C3po I couldn't pass up. I think I'm just okay with buying any modern jumbo, I know I've got my eye out for Vulkira and Greasebat's jumbos that are supposedly in the works. The fact that these are coming out when I'm here for the development and introduction of these new jumbos is getting me attached to them in a way that I won't ever be attached to say Dragun for instance.

Nice to see that box art in the top post. The box was not in most of the first pics shared from NYTF. All looking good.

Looks okay. Bit disappointed with the fist sculpts and the plates under the feet. Looks like special missiles to shoot out from the left forearm launcher. The price is nice with the less features. Would love a launching backpack, but am thinking that won't happen.

On TBDX Facebook group, the price was also getting excitement , but Brian from Super7 chimed in that price had been gotten down to $200 range. Unless someone is trying to pull some marketing stunt, I think it is an error. I'd love to be wrong though!

I don't know. That sounds like it's way below cost.
