Well I’m glad you didn’t miss such a bargain. He is a lovely robot and I’m sure you’ll be as excited as I was when you start opening all those doors. You’re right, it’s not the accepted etiquette, but I’ve done it a few times. Now, now, don’t blame me. I’m just another robot junkie who can’t help window shopping when work is quiet. Perhaps there is a website for our women to join, www.mypartnerkeepsspendingthejointaccountonpointlessrobots.com or something. If you direct her to my postings, I shall endeavour to convince her that I am you and that you signed up twice with two identities in order to converse with yourself and blame someone else for your robot purchasing excesses. Just call me Horselover Fat. Hippy

Hello, I just discovered this board. I have all my Muton/Cyborg ans Android stuff from child hood, the newer Takara stuff and a few vintage Japanese pieces. Somone posted a link to Yahoo Japan, and I was salivating, but unable to bid or read the descriptions...altho, it handilly said in English thta most sellers won't ship internationally. So, does anyone know how or have any Japanese contacts for this stuff? ? Or someone who can bid? ?

Are you from the UK, Carl?
Being from the UK and posting a message on this board pretty much means you're in the UK20.
It's a highly exclusive club invented by hypnotator and me, it's like 'The Firm' with Tom Cruise only not as high-budget.

Exclusive eh? Well, I'm from the UK, but moved to Los Angeles a few years ago. So does that make me part of an even more exclusive subset?
I am totally enamoured of Muton and Cyborg, ever since I saved and saved to buy the originals myself.
Seeing that link to Yahoo Japan was like the most frustrating thing. I want to get at those figures!

Mutonismyfriend, you are, like, totally in.
Any friend of a muton called Mutonismyfriend is a friend of mine.
And I'm happy to say that..because I almost couldn't.
What's the weather like out there 'M'?

- Seeing that link to Yahoo Japan was like the most frustrating thing. I want to get at those figures! - Well...There are a couple of people who bid on your behalf (for a commission!) the most well-known being rinkya.com I've registered with them, but have never used them, but I know people who have, and who are happy with their service... Those YJ auctions are just so tantalising! BTW - when I move to Vancouver, do I become part of an expat UK20? Or does the UK20 become a UK19...

I think the UK20 should be fans of UK Cyborg rather than people who live in the UK. Then we can number more than 20. Indeed, we should call ourselves the Cybo-diehards or Muton's Groupies. I wish the title of this thread was spelt properly... Hippy

Coooooooooooooooool!
I'm in the UK20 - I feel very accepted - and want to reach out SpyMagician and say thankyou. Now I don't feel so weird, which is saying something living in LA.
Latest News: Joined Celga yesterday, and won my first Yahoo Japan auction. The slippery slope has begun! My ebay bill verges on bankrupting me, with YJ it could well be worse.....
Anyway, I have a King Waruda 12" in Green, with a crack around his neck, but all else looks good. I paid 16,250 yen....around $160...plus all the fees.....
Now I want an alien invader.....
And a CyboInvader......
and...and......
Anyway, UK20...are there really so few fans out there?

Did you get the head to? If so you got a great buy! I am saving up for the yellow 12 inch! Forget the blue! I would rather spend $1000 on vintage diecast! ;D The best value are the androids. They really display well! To bad the missiles don't shoot but the chest springs open. What can you expect from a 30 year old toy?

Thanks Tex - I did get the head as well....from the photo he looks great. With the commision and internal shipping I paid $185 all told...plus I'll have to add some to get him here from Japan.
Thanks for your email...I'm going to dig it out and reply. I really want to get some tips from you on how to create searches in YJ, and also, how to view completed auctions.
By the way, I've noe won 5 auctions, and its thanks to you and the link you posted! Thanks!

Green Walder, eh? I’m fairly green myself. The green one looks the best; I love my green KWJr. I heard a rumour that Takara intend to reissue 12” Walder, but this is not from a reliable source, and Takara change their minds a lot. Anyone know about this? I’m deeply disappointed they haven’t done the engine colour variations in their “Henshin Collection” series. In fact, I b*tch about it all the time on this site.
What else have you won, Mutonismyfriend?

What else have I won? Well, I don't have any of it yet....and "won" always makes me laugh, like we got a free gift - but it's what we all refer to it as. Here's what I should be gettting: - A KW Jr Satan King (repro)
- The three vinyl Skull, Plant and Statn King - I plan to cut them up to make costumes out of them.
- A neo-henshin black tector suit - only ever seen the gold and silver before.
- A cyborg Jaguar in doberman pinsher mode (looks like Dynomutt).
- The aforementioned Walder.
I already had a couple of the Android 12" series, so I'm after the last of them. I'd also like to get the alien invaders, but they are pricey. The motorcycle and sidercar would be coooooool to. I also want a Cyboinvader - more a UK20 type of thing. The guy who runs tiktoys sent me a pic of his collection last year, and he has every item released out the original Japanese line - every costume, down to the Invader acessory sets. The costumes (with the exception of Skull King, Satan King and Planter dude) are too frustrating for me. I have a couple, but I prefer the later Medicom versions, which I have about 50 of. To me nothing beats a naked muton.... By the way - I have to send a big shout out to Borghunter who had me laughing my ass off at suggested analogies for Cyborgs arsenal. I helped by suggesting a novel use of the eliminator. He countered with a logical use of the venom injector. great stuff that only a few of us could ever laugh about......

Yes, I agree the term “win” is inappropriate, a bit like the right to “choose” health care, provided you can afford it. Clever of Ebay to use it; “item won” and all that, but what other term can they use? “You outbid the other ****ers” is too long winded. Some nice items on their way to you. The Satan King Jr. is not strictly a reissue. The vinyls are probably best cut up. I know what you mean about collecting all the costumes. One of the reasons UK Cyborg always appealed to me was that he wasn’t a tie-in, and the costumes in the Japanese series go against this. There’s a couple of fishy type rubber ones that appeal to me, but I agree, the figures are best displayed naked. You mention accessory sets for the Invaders. I haven’t heard of these, please tell me more. When I eventually get bidding on YJ I’ll be looking out for the Androids, particularly Chojin or Super A, and the Invaders, particularly J. Also, I want a PPFM, don’t care which (it appears there are three), I just want a bald Cyborg, and Satake with his crew cut. I saw some new colour variations on Acroyear too; wouldn’t mind those. I’m deeply amused by this site’s propensity to censor. I didn’t know “pregnant dog” was a verb (this isn’t what I typed in). I want to read the jokes about Cyborg’s arsenal; are they on one of the strings or was this a private correspondence? Is it too blue to post? Hippy

Nah, not too blue....basically juvenile suggestions for novel uses of the eliminator, the fact that the interceptor is more akin to a dentist's chair, and why the venom injector keeps muton up at night with a smile on his face ;D
However, I miss juvenile humour, as no one laughs much at that stuff here....plus how many people would get a muton joke?
All I know about the invader accessories is that the guy who runs tikitoys told me that they were tye hardest of the whole collection to find. No idea what they are.

Hello,
New to the board and looking to trade for Denys Fisher Cyborg and Muton parts, accessories, etc. I have some vintage Takara Henshin Cyborg pieces that I can trade.
