Thanks for the heads up on Anime Island's preorder. Start to like shopping there now, as the discount is really good, and I don't mind the waiting.

Nice! Thanks Chen. Hmm... so they went with diecast thighs and feet instead of the lower legs. Makes sense since that will minimize paint chips... I hope. I'm still not seeing cause for the 18,000 Yen price tag though... Gold

That is an amazingly gorgeous rendition of a truly strange robot. I've never seen the show. Is it as insane as the robot designs would lead you to believe?

That is an amazingly gorgeous rendition of a truly strange robot. I've never seen the show. Is it as insane as the robot designs would lead you to believe? Pretty much. This robot here, Goldymarg (Goldy for short) has a giant squeaky hammer on his back. Which is used in combat, as part of a finishing move, hehe. The show is amazing, probably one of the best robot shows from the 90's, I strongly encourage you to watch it if you can. It doesn't even get boring, since in almost all episodes something important happens or some important character/mecha is introduced.

You folks know that the design of the Goldion Hammer which you call squeaky because it's appearance and resemblance to a toy, is actually a working design in several construction/demolition tools? It is mostly seen used in street/pavement work. }D I didn't know that..

Hahaha, I forgot how frightening over the top this anime was. Clothes fluttering violently, screaming non-sensual English (relieve?) and strobe effects, I'm surprised this show didn't throw kids into seizures like Pokemon. Lovely

The original (toy) hammer was a plastic lung that was used to shoot foam missiles from the tip of the handle.

Update! Wonder what's up with the word Final on the Soul of Iron logo? Does it mean the final update for this toy, or is this particular section of the magazine going away? Or am I just reading too much into it? Judging by that little add on piece, it does seem like there will be a cheat of sorts in terms of how the Marg Arm will connect, Well, as long as it makes it more stable I'm all for it. I think GGG is getting a second run in October? Images courtesy of Taghobby.com Gold

Don't like the way the shaft of the hammer is bending in this pic. Gotta make sure you give this one support.

Man, that does looks like a clown hammer weapon with bendy handles. Does it accordion, too? It prolly should... edit: and apparently, it does...
