These are really cool! I love the Getter G base the most. These bases would look more awesome when painted.

I know, actually tried a few paints available spray paints here and there and they looked really terrible (and smelled kinda funky). Currently looking for an airbrush kit and some hobby paints, but they are hard to source out locally in Dubai (small Gunpla and Tamiya community and always out of stock). And there are some restrictions shipping them in country as well. Until then, i'm all prototype gray.

Using spray paints on objects this size is really a pain, the spray cans just spray thick globs of paint. Yeah an airbrush is definitely the best way to get these painted. I got an airbrush last week and I'm never going back to canned spray! You can also try brushing the paint using valejo acrylics or enamels. My friend Don uses them a lot in his figures and they turn out really good.

Id do them by hand with acrylics by Tamiya or similar,I hate the way Airbrushing gives that fake looking overspray weathering unless your going uniform colors..You can get a much better look with brushes, but it takes practice...I absolutely have to have all these bases

Guys can you please help me,how exactly do I go about getting these to my mailbox..LOL..can you give me eth easiest steps on where and how to print them out?what is the fastest most efficient way? exacylt the steps? Option 1: I have a few test prints in Shapeways ordered, I'll share the results if they come out without any issues. If they are successful, I'll probably open up a shop in Shapeways for a limited time so that people who wants the bases printed who don't have a 3D printer. Right now I'm concentrating on optimizing my personal favorites (Camp Big Falcon and Photon Base), if you have any personal favorite, i could fast track the optimization as well. My personal target to complete everything would be mid-April. This is the fastest and easiest way. Option 2: Download the STL (edit or scale to your preference) (this you will need to PM me for current designs ), make an account in Shapeways, upload and order print. Shapeways has manual and auto checks that will tell you if there are problems or issues with the model. Option 3: Alternatively, I have early versions available for download in Thingiverse. Most are single prints and should print fine without issues (following conventional 3D printer guidelines) in saved scale. This was printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using standard settings, you should not have any issues printing on any other 3D printer ( a friend of mine printed the camp big falcon on his DIY reprap without no issues). This involves a 3D printer and a roll of filament and a lot of time (usually 2-8 hours for single prints). The newer bases I made, apparently, are 3D printer unfriendly by design, so I am forced to use make them modular (up to 8-12 parts). This applies to the Balattack base, Getter Robot G base and Science Fortress. Some sanding and gluing required. Would love to see these guys polished and fully painted at one point in time.

Id glue/sand them..and paint them perfectly, you can use them as an ad for your work, trust me they would be perfect if I painted them.Id pay whatever cost ..it would help me and you..I want these especially Jeeg and Barractack bases.
